Hearn in talks with Ngannou

Post by BigDoofus »

“Eddie Hearn HAS held talks with Francis Ngannou and believes he 'should fight Anthony Joshua'... and the former UFC heavyweight champion could seal 'the greatest upset of all time' by beating the Brit“

Ngannou said he’s also in talks with Wilder.

Now this would probably sell out pretty quickly. 2 flawed fighters, but big punchers (everyone loves a KO), neither of them tied up with titles. What's not to like? :box: :yay:

A bit harsh? AJ tries his best.

Twisting up the system with Conor Benn is one thing, but I think even Hearn was struggling to keep a straight face talking about Ngannou and Joshua. I recall from the K1 kick-boxing world, Badr Hari fancied some boxing but nothing came of it. Andrei Arlovski got as far as sparring and having Freddie Roach as a trainer. But he never took a boxing fight either. Is Ngannou going to go for the cash? How low can Hearn go?

Eddie is talking nonsense for whatever reason. There is no chance of AJ fighting Nganno- at least not until he has been beaten again by a conventional Boxxer.

I reckon Nganno will probably end up going back to UFC eventually, but on much more favourable terms.

They're gonna get someone killed/very badly injured if these novelty rubbish fights get out of hand.
