Is Fury’s camp more professional than it outwardly appears? I’m a bit out of touch on this stuff - but who is his coach and who are his sparring partners for this match up?

Nowadays people would tell you that Muhammad Ali was the most beloved sporting icon in history but for most of his career that was not true because he talked so much crap that you had half the world cheering whenever he lost.

And the antics were even worse when the fights were a hard sell. And even when the fights were not a hard sell Ali would do outrageous things like pulling a gun out in Manila firing blanks at Joe Frazier's apartment. He could be a downright aggravating prick and a half.

It's these kind of things that ultimately had people rattled, and Fury does it all for the same reasons. Not only to gain a psychological edge but to also draw more interest to the fights. And how can you sell a match between two baby faces? You can't. Not really.

Somebody has to be the bad guy. Somebody has to make the noise. Somebody has to put the butts in the seats. You can pretty much guarantee all of these antics over the passed 2 weeks probably created 50,000 ticket buyers easily.
Agree.
But it would have sold at least 44,500 of those seats to the gypsy/traveller community alone we were reliably informed even before the Fury Instagram meltdowns.

Fury clearly been talked to. The Simon Jordan rant served no benefit to ticket sales .. but of course the pro-Fury fans not see that.
Trust me, Tony, they are nearly all going to Fury fans. I would put my life on that.

Social media comments never translate to real life. Fury will have absolutely massive support in Wembley if this happens.

Hasim Rahman picking Usyk to beat Fury but lose to Wilder

If this fight does happen and Rahman is right and Usyk wins then I can see a lot of huge fights being made off the back of it. Usyk's not scared to fight anyone so can see Usyk-Wilder happening. Fury won't have that many options then, so can see the AJ fight also finally taking place.

If Fury wins though... It'll probably be Joyce, and I think I'm on my own here, but I'm not that excited about that fight.

You'd think that all those in favour of Fury will try to go to the fight while those who want to see him get knocked out will watch from home.

Yeah feel that is a really valid question. We know the travelling community are pretty much unparalleled in support of their boxers. Do pro boxers of a travelling heritage not follow likewise pro boxers of a travelling heritage?

Henry isn’t immersed in the traveller culture. His closet friends aren’t from it. He wouldn’t go to any show unless he has a vested interest in it. He’d go to golf. My other ex pro friends Wilson, Robshaws, James, Lowther etc will undoubtedly be there, along with all their ‘clans’. Hopey Price and his brothers Ellis and Morales will 100% be there with the younger generation. Henry will watch it in a pub in York probably playing dominoes or pool. He’s not what you might imagine.

Boxing News this week have solid information, they say, that Tyson is desperate for the fight. The rematch clause outburst came when lawyers were negotiating what would happen if an in injury occurred so Tyson just said fXXXk the rematch when remembering how he had to face Wilder for the third time when desperate to fight AJ. Blame the editors of BN for this, not me. It's the lead editorial.

Just sick to death of everyone constantly going on about travellers at me, im pretty sure most are the same person. Ruins the enjoyment of the forum to be honest.
