Fury is a bigger draw. Despite being more accomplished as an athlete, Usyk is less popular as a fighter. Anyway, it seems like a split in Fury's favor is agreed. Fury's regular mind games definitely don't work aginst Usyk, so Fury tries to get under Usyk's skin with f8cking around the terms of preparation to the fight.coneye wrote: ↑17 Mar 2023, 18:55Quite possible has Fury signed the contract yetBigDoofus wrote: ↑17 Mar 2023, 04:00Is Fury-Wilder at Wembley next?coneye wrote: ↑18 Jan 2023, 06:30 Called it a long time ago , its just not going to happen ,, sign here Usky , WHERE .... The midgets from the 70s wouldnt last five rounds with today's heavies. George Foreman was considered a giant back then, he's a shrimp compared to the heavies today. Ali, remember, got knocked senseless by Henry Cooper who would be a cruiserweight or even light-heavyweight today.
Wilder or Fury or Joshua or Joyce would knock him into the next century.

So it’s meant to be 6 weeks today and still nothing confirmed.
Frank is talking like it’s a done deal. If it is then why not get it announced? Klimas/Krassyuk’s comments make you doubt things.
Given how long they’ve supposedly being negotiating this I don’t really get what’s holding it up if, as Frank says, they’ve agreed the main stuff.

Take the piss all you like. I actually said Tyson is in top condition and the fight needs signing immediately. Fact. Dan has probably rang a few mates, my guy is working tonight with one of the team.tonyevs wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 04:48Ok .. but has he had a coffee with Mick's mate?handsofstone wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 04:26 Dan Rafael saying that he's spoke to 2 people in negotiations and they both accepted that it ain't happening, imagine my surprise

Nah sorry mate don't know how to post links, it was from his Twitter, I seen another tweet say the contract didn't have April 29 date and just the 70/30 split which Usyk isn't havingPhenomenal-Nutrition wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 04:35Got a link? Don't blame him, he's been dicked about no end. Another thing I heard yesterday, apparently when a WBC champ fights against his mandatory the challenger gets 30% as standard and Usyk is supposed to take that despite bringing 3 belts in. He'll probably walk away next week and Tyson can get back on social media saying how he was scared of the gypsy king.handsofstone wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 04:54Nah sorry mate don't know how to post links, it was from his Twitter, I seen another tweet say the contract didn't have April 29 date and just the 70/30 split which Usyk isn't havingPhenomenal-Nutrition wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 04:35Got a link? I hate to use the word, but you’re either a troll or just really badly informed. George Foreman is a terrible example to use. I’m not saying the comeback George was amazing, but you can’t deny his baseline strength and heavy hands. Just look at how Holyfield, Moorer, Briggs, Morrison etc had to fight the guy. Very carefully! Even when he was positively ancient. The Ali stuff is clearly nonsense. Incredibly durable - would Joshua last in a 15 round fight with his big muscles? I’d think he’d end up in an exhausted heap!tigermoth87 wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 02:08 The midgets from the 70s wouldnt last five rounds with today's heavies. A great fighter is a great fighter. They're gonna learn how to do what they need to do to hold their own in any environment.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 02:08 The midgets from the 70s wouldnt last five rounds with today's heavies. So Usyk turned down the Fury fight in December and now he’s going to walk away again?

Fury still 'terrified'?
Ian Darke said on this week's Ringside Rewind that he didn't think Fury fancied the Usyk fight. Many, many others have said the same, even from when the fight was first suggested. It appears they've been correct all along. The chance for history, yet Fury would rather just piss around doing all he can to block the fight. We've seen this all before with him though.

This thing is baffling. Why did BrickTop come out so forcefully this week and insist the fights definitely going to happen April 29..
I mean maybe it gets announced on Monday, which would surely have to be the cut off for any already tight timescale, but it really makes no sense.
