I do hope someone can pick this up.
And we don’t have to rely on Fite.

Is plant not a multimillionaire since the canelo fight like?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 11:43
Re: Caleb Plant vs. David Benavidez - 25 March 2023
I think, that the slick Plant is a stylistic nightmare for the swarmer Benavidez, if Plant does everything like should, but I'm not sure, if Caleb's game is polished enough. I guess, Plant will be ahead in the early rounds, while he's fresh, but with time going on he will become more and more hittable. I pick Benavidez to score the late round stoppage, possibly being behind on points. David has just been looking too relentless before, although against the lower level opposition.
Yet I hope to be wrong here. I'm rooting for the underdog Plant, because Benavidez wasn't appealing at all during the promotional campaign, he acted like a silly thug there, while Caleb was talking in a sound way.

Backing Plant all the way
I do have a gut feeling Benavidez will get to him eventually but I'm hoping Plant beats him
Another good fight while other fights just become jokes

Yeah I’m surprised by the lack of interest and votes in the poll on this. We have a quality fight here

Everyone Plant fights seems to have real beef with him, seems a bit of a knob.
I think he's a quality operator. Interested to see if he's improved under Edwards. Didnt appear to have for majority of Dirrell fight, he wasnt great, but the finish was beautiful.
Think Benavidez overwhelms him late. Weigh in will be tell tale though, got to be struggling at 168.
Probably highest quality fight this year so far?

Maybe aye. Guess any fight with Davis is up there but Garcia was relatively unheralded until Colbert fight, these two have been high in 168 pecking order for years now.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 10:14Davis-GarciaBigdogsnose wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 10:11 Everyone Plant fights seems to have real beef with him, seems a bit of a knob.

Yeah I saw. When I first came to the forum I started on the current scene, but I soon found that the best posting was in the British scene, with a lot of knowledgeable posters (despite the odd obsessive forum flame wars.)Oiky wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 08:43Yeah better thread over there on this oneRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 08:34There is a heavier thread on the CS.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 07:26

So I stick mostly to here now. I just thought that in this era when the majority of boxing news was just talk and fights not happening, This genuinely good match was under appreciated here.
I’ll check the CS thread thanks

You're not wrong. CS is usually dead. I post US fights on CS first.. They do get good response depending on what the fight is. This CS thread on this was started a while ago when the fight was first mentioned.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 11:24 Yeah I saw. A lot of guys from B&I don't use the CS and vice versa..
Its good to dabble into the CS every so on.
But you're right, the best posters stay in the Brit section.

Plants proven me wrong many times. But I never really underrated him.
I knew he was a talent. I think Beni is a different breed.
I just hope for a good fight and the best boxer to win.

I think it’s a 50/50 fight but Caleb is 2/1 so will have a small bet on himRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 13:10I’m torn.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 11:50Cheers mate. Who do you have anyway?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 11:47
