Cyrus Pattinson vs. Chris Jenkins | DAZN - 18 March 2023
Re: Round-by-Round: Cyrus Pattinson vs. Chris Jenkins | DAZN - 18 March 2023
Phone box fight between Miller and Browne. Loads of big shots. Round 2 was a beaut.
At the end of Round 4, they both looked like it was the end of Rd 14 in the Jungle.
Browne eventually collapsed onto the ropes and the reg stopped soon after.
Beautiful advert for PEDs.

McCormack looking class
Re: Round-by-Round: Cyrus Pattinson vs. Chris Jenkins | DAZN - 18 March 2023
Class yes - very fast, a naturally solid look and also quite an unpleasant nasty b*tard that enjoys hurting people.
THE top UK prospect right now...? Hard to think of anyone better...

n this fight, to be fair McCormack fighting in 8 rounders this early is a good sign. Sounds like he has some semblance of a following as well which will surely grow as he wins more.

Powah might not be as good as it looks from the speed.
Distance last time and 4 rounds here of total lesson, but still no stoppage..

Pat seems to step backwards out of range as his only defensive move.
Working fine for him here, but really needs to change that habit very quickly.

Yeah, he's the No.1.
Pat looks class and will clearly go far, but his powah, while fine, is clearly not as good as it looks. The point above about his defence is valid.
He's been clippd a few times and is guilty of 'moving back in straight lines'
Great prospect tho'.
EDIT - massive emotional meltdown from the Italian !

That stoppage was horrendous, whoever the ref is get him in the trash can, one of the worst ever stoppages you'll see
Re: Round-by-Round: Cyrus Pattinson vs. Chris Jenkins | DAZN - 18 March 2023
May have well have stopped it at the end of round 1.

That's where we're frikkin heading.
I've obviously benefitted financially tonight from one and to be fair the Dacres one had the ref not jumped in I think Dacres was gonna land a big shot on the button and probably go on to at least stick Ismay down. He would undoubtable have won by stoppage eventually either way.
But this one, there's a minute left ffs and now this poor sod can't fight for 4 weeks (or more.)

No but the stoppage loss means something both on his record and for him making some money in the next few months.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 18:04 Socci a bit over the top. He wasn’t gonna win that fight lol

It’s the worst I’ve ever seen, can’t think of any worse. Socci meltdown was a bit dramatic though.handsofstone wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 18:03 That stoppage was horrendous, whoever the ref is get him in the trash can, one of the worst ever stoppages you'll see

The Italian had put his heart and soul in to GTD there, was cruel on him to be stopped like that.

Darren Barker - 'He was getting absolutely battered.'
Compare that to Lewis Ritson having lost every round and being down for the second time against that Argentinian guy and still Steve Gray doesn't stop it. But yet the same ref stops the Italian last week vs Romford bull off of a single shot.

If Pattinson can pull this off this is a serious win for his 6th fight, just praying Jenkins doesn't get cut

C-Patz looked like Skeletor @ the weigh-in there....
