Fabio Wardley v Michael Polite Coffie

Post by funso banjo baby »

Looks like Fabio is back with a matchup scheduled against Coffie.

Wardley is on the fringe of world class level. He's up against Coffie who looked ok destroying unbeaten Darmani Rock, had a war with Jonnie Rice in their first fight but has been piling on the lbs steadily. His loss to that other fat bloke recently was embarrassing.

Can't see Wardley having much trouble in this one regardless of the weight....frankly this should be a warm up for a much bigger match in early summer?

I'd currently place Fabio just behind Dubois and way ahead of all the other prospects below.

When is Wardley going to up the level a bit? I know he's still green in the grand scheme of things but I think he could probably still push himself a little bit further a little bit quicker at this stage.

Don't get overly excited. Wardley isn't on the fringe of anything just yet.

This is a pretty decent fight, both can whack.

I was initially a touch disappointed wardly wasn’t defending the British, but this is in 10 days so I mean, for that timeline it’s a great fight.

if fabio even years ago was already good enough that he'd beat miller, he shouldnt be wasting his time on guys like this, or even worse opponents like healy and martz. mike was downright embarassing in his last fight, another stoppage loss. how he makes for a decent opponent is beyond me. get freakin johnnie rice at least

the 10 day thing is nonsense too. this wouldve been arranged well before 10 days ago, and fabio's last fight was 4 months ago, he's had plenty of time to find someone better
