Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk is NOT happening on April 29th, Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas has now declared. Klimas said: “No matter how much Usyk compromised, he was pushed for more.” He added that they hope for Usyk to return in a mandatory defence in June/July. [@SteveKim323]

Maybe it's a counter of team Usyk. The WBA announced the deadline next week and team Usyk probably tries to shake team Fury during the final days.

After all the fooooking about , no doubt Fury will come out on the 2nd of April and declare Usyk a shithouse for saying its off before the deadline . Hence blaming Usyk .

Really just hope they force there mandatory on Fury now . It will be for a lot less money if he does'nt take it STRIP HIM

I still hoping it's able to be secured for the 29th April .. however with 5 weeks to go, and Fury's blatant stalling it's looking very unlikely.

It was stated Wembley is booked, so assume Fury will be facing someone on that date - I hope fWank pushes Joyce for Fury .. but if Fury not happy facing Usyk I guess he Def won't consider Joyce.

If this is definitely off then I hope Fury loses all his fan base. Even the gypsy/traveller community have got to see Fury is fake and just fleecing them of their money.

Yep - we were reliably assured Fury was a real fighting man, and a man who devoutly honoured any verbal or handshake agreement like his highly respected father.

He definitely not scared to face any man .. especially a middleweight midget; he will also happily fight for free.

Only logical reason it's not happening must be because Usyk's useless manager agreed to all of Fury's demands. What a sausage they are to dodge the Gypsy King.

I was listening to an Australian heavyweight boxer last night. He said that Fury doesn't even have any southpaw boxers in his camp.

Fury is the biggest bottle job I have ever seen in 30 years or so of following the sports. What a total act of cowardice.

Uysk is the man. He has smoked the monster out. Fury's legacy is now trashed. Everyone, apart from the Big Doofus'of the World, will just think ' ducker' when they discuss Fury in boxing terms.

Saying that, we’ll still get Fury’s fan base thinking it was Usyk who ducked once they watch Fury’s inevitable Instagram video calling Usyk a shithouse dosser.

I don't think this fight was ever happening in Wembley.

The big money is in this being in Saudi. Maybe happens later in the year there.

I never liked this general statement.

We have one very corrupt sanctioning body in WBC and one coward shitbag in Fury. That's all the problems we have with this huge undisputed not happening. The other sanctioning bodies played game, Usyk was game from day one, everybody and everything was ready to push for this bout - except the WBC and Fury.

Fury really ought to be stripped for wasting everyone's time alone. He clearly never wanted this fight to happen. He clearly didn't relinquish the belt last year when he "retired" because he knew the WBC wouldn't touch him. He had a ridiculous sparring session against an almost 40-year-old, 12 losses guy whom he'd beaten twice already like a decade ago - and that was accepted by the WBC as an official title defence.

Boxing is not in a bad place in general - we have a few very rotten apples, they are the problem.
