Gomez Jr should be banned and fined. Chisora would have got 100k fine for doing that.

Fine him, and ban him but (if possible) after this fight. Seen people saying pull him off the card, that just disadvantages his opponent.

Totally unacceptable :shame: Should receive a ban sufficient enough for him to realise his conduct was completely out of order.

Boxing doesn't need the sort of muppets attracted to the sport that get-off on that sort of behaviour.

No need to put Levi out of pocket, I'm sure he has worked hard to get on shape and probably wants revenge in the ring.

x3. If he can't control himself then he needs educating. And no need for his opponent to be disadvantaged as you guys say.

I don't think I'd ban the guy over this, but I'd definitely fine the sh*t out of him. And a Suspension is probably in order. An outright banning I don't know, but say 70% of his purse and 1 year suspended license oughta drive the point home that he's f*cked up, and he shouldn't do that kinda thing.

Maybe just a 6 month suspension. That's the boards call, but I think this is the action they should take.

Guess it comes down to the result tomorrow night

Gomez knocks him into next week = should have never happened.
Levi wins = told ya revenge is sweet,

What levi gonna be on tomorrow? 4K-8 max so boxxer could probably take the hit and pay him.

Yeah they could, but sadly they won't. Anything that gives the show publicity will please the promoter, even if it is someone being a cowardly bellend.

Whatever the result, at least let Levi have a go at him. A ban before the fight would suck on so many levels.

Absolutely right, have liked what I've seen of him this week in the build-up, seems very measured and down-to-earth. Will certainly be rooting for him to humble Gomez.

Best thing would be for officials to refuse to present the belt if Gomez wins. If you don’t respect the sport, the sport shouldn’t respect you.

Promoters can fix this shit in a heartbeat , just let it be known carryon like an idiot and we don't use you , but i suspect they don't just like it they encourage it

Loads of people push their opponent. Is it really that big a deal? It just looks worse cos the guy was unbalanced aces so he fell over. Jarell Miller’s push was way harder

And the very next day in America Caleb Plant pokes Jose Benavidez in the face.
Someone is going to get a fight preventing cut from this nonsense soon.
Sell the fight by being an entertaining fighter in the ring, not this youtuber shenanigans..

Agree with you that it was deplorable behaviour but as someone who is sort of halfway between a casual and a serious boxing fan, just watching that little clip has given me an interest in the fight that wasn’t there prior to that.
