I’ve not got great hopes for this main event.

David Light appearing more like a mortgage adviser than a boxer aside, I get the feeling his game plan involves a fair amount of “determination”.

But fingers crossed anyway.

Crowd get to enjoy there sweet caroline sing along , why do sky give the interview the boxers job to so eone who speaks mumble english , he was harder to understand than all the u tube mumblers

David Light is OK, but the #1 in NZ is just a domestic level UK fighter, if that. He has some skills, but will prove too small

Yeah I remember it was in the years shortly after 9/11 and Tito Trinidad fought Ricardo Mayorga in New York and by god the woman singing the US national anthem made it last 5 minutes.

I’ve never known a guy able to throw a right hand and it fly in about 3 inches behind the opponents head then resulting in a clinch.

Every time it happens I always think frig me had that landed the guys head would have come off his shoulders but it never does.
