People have different opinions. Incidentally, Ingle's old fighter, Johnny Nelson, has gone on record and said it looks like Fury didn't want any part of Uysk.

I wouldn't describe either Ingle or Nelson as being deluded, quite the opposite, in fact. But, on this issue, my perception of Fury's willingness to take on Uysk is similar to Nelsons and Bradley's (both top draw fighters). That view point appears to be the majority view.

You have a different view. And that's ok.

There is a popular account on Twitter called “Company Nelson” that takes the mickey out of his biased views whereas Ingle is known for his straight talking.
Viewpoints change over time. It’s still not clear why Usyk fled East.

Tim Bradley was working for the PBC (Al Haymon) when he said that about Tyson Fury.

Basically he was told to hate on Tyson Fury.

Looks like Tim will be going to the Ball with Al.

The whole thing seems a mystery, to be honest. Very frustrating to watch from the outside and even more so for everyone involved, I would imagine. I can really sense the frustration in Fury's promoters that the fight, for whatever reasons didn't happen. It seems very clear that they really wanted it.

I'm gutted it is not happening for boxing's sake*, and because it would have been a fascinating encounter between two top draw sportsmen.

* previously, I always felt it was over the top, when big fights fell through, to say that boxing was in danger of becoming obsolete. Today, it is different with social media around. The big fights of the year seem to be with Jake Paul and KSI, and those types of occasions will gather pace if the big boxing fights don't happen.

To my mind, it's mental that Joe Joyce isn't on pay per view but KSI and Jake Paul are.

John Fury has said Tyson Fury should SACK SugarHill Steward for comments after the Oleksandr Usyk collapse: “What the hell was that about? 'I'm only here for Okolie.' I've seen him training Tyson. He denied him like Judas denied Jesus. That's a sacking offence.” [@Metro_Sport]

100% :salut:
He really nailed home the fact that Tyson never intended to fight Uysk on the 29th. No trainer or camp booked one month out from the biggest fight of his career?

Yes, which is why I wish the entire Fury clan would just piss off. It's buggering up the heavyweight division - it's an embarrassment. It's a shame Peter Fury was ostracised, he seemed the only one with any sense.

In the end, it will just be yes men left. Warren clearly seems frustrated but will probably persist with Fury if and that's a big if
given the opportunity.

Hill will almost certainly be given the chop, and I'd not he surprised to see Fury go solo and promote himself for the last couple of fights of his career. If he fights more than 3 more times I'll be quite surprised.
