Tyson Fury’s Brother, Roman Fury, Set To Sign With BOXXER/Sky Sports

Cruiserweight Prospect Roman Fury To Ink Multi-Year Deal With Leading Promoter Ben Shalom

NoSmokeSport.com has learnt that Roman Fury will team up with Ben Shalom’s BOXXER in a multi-fight, multi-year agreement that will see him fight live on Sky Sports moving forward.

26-year-old Roman is the brother of WBC Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, Love Island star Tommy Fury and cousin to former world heavyweight title challenger Hughie Fury.

Fury had zero amateur experience and made his professional debut last October on a Steve Wood/VIP Boxing card at the Doncaster Racecourse, Yorkshire, United Kingdom. He outpointed journeyman boxer Ryan Hibbert (2-24) 40-36 over four rounds at Cruiserweight in his only bout to date.

Roman Fury is managed by Jimmy Harrington, who also manages Tommy Fury, and went into the public limelight during the Jake Paul-Tommy Fury build-up when he ranted about 15 members of Jake Paul’s team cornering him and threatening to shoot him.

Roman starting training with brothers Tyson and Tommy after lockdown had left him six stone heavier. Initially, he trained twice a week to get the weight off but increased his output gradually until it became a daily thing.

Fury revealed to talkSPORT the positive benefits boxing had for him, “It’s not just a physical thing, it’s a mental thing as well. It’s turned my life around completely.”

Now he will have the backing off a major platform in Sky Sports and be featured in arena shows with the attention of hundreds of thousands of people watching his attempt at winning professional titles.

“I want to go for titles. I am looking for British titles and like any boxer have ambitions to win World titles. I would even love Central and English titles. I would be privileged to win them because that is very, very good. Not many boxers even win Area titles.” Roman Fury told The Mirror

Since they have Tyson Fury, they always can have Holyfield Fury, Lewis Fury, Bowe Fury or Foreman Fury, or anything like that.

I believe that Tyson and Tommy Fury have the same father but different mothers and that Tommy's mother is Asian. Maybe this guy Roman has the same mother as Tommy

Tommy and Roman have the same mother. She lived on an island off the coast of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean that used to be a British colony called Mauritius. The Fury's are traveller's (Irish). She's most likely of Indian descent since that island does have a lot of hindu temples on it. Ironically gypsies originally did come out of India. So perhaps she is Romany, but I'm assuming that she's a non-gypsy.

He's been a shocker to watch any time I've seen him. I wouldn't tune in to watch him again I'm afraid. I like to see action in the ring, not a guy throwing nothing and fighting for a shoe shine points win. There are times I'll enjoy watching that but not from an ungainly guy who can easily KO his opponent but is "boxing smart". No thanks.
