Best & Worst Fights

Post by Spud »

What are the best places & worst fights you have watched/seen involving British fighters?

Nigel Benn v Gerald McClellan …what a fight but so sad too.

I hated some of Johnny Nelson fights.

The best fights I have attended/worked on are:

Michael Brodie v In Jin Chi 1
Clinton Woods v Rico Hoye
Jamie Moore v Michael Jones
Mairis Breidis v Uleksandr Usyk

I have no doubts some of you will remind me of others?

Live
Lewis v Razor.
Honeyghan v Vaca 2
Tapia v Alvarez.

I forgot to put Mi Vida loca on my favourite fighters on your other thread Spud. Tapia was class and it was a privilege to see him live. However short lived the fight was.

TV
Pryor v Arguello
Rosario v Camacho
Hagler v Hearns obvs

For pure drama the best live fight I’ve attended was Joshua v Ruiz 1. Not high on skill but the whole arena was stood up from round 3 to round 7.
