Ive always said that a decent show would mean that the show could still hold its own if the main event got cancelled or posponed for whatever reason.

He didn’t seem much of a puncher at lightweight? When fighting guys who usually operated in the divisions below lightweight.

When we first saw Hatton we wondered how come some1 with those genes and uprbringing be so terribly bad - he looked worse than a kid off the street ! :maybe:

He's clicked now.
He might be average, he might be good, but he's not a joke anymore..

Don't give Hearn ideas. If his investment in Benn ends up collapsing further then Hatton will be next to headline a PPV.

campbell's improved, but his opposition is absolutely dreadful. he's 11-0 yet not even in boxrec's top 400 for a reason. cant really say how he'd do vs someone with a pulse, who of course they refuse to match him against. my guess is he wouldnt do particularly well

the guy he beat is ranked 803 :oo

well yeah, but if that was his debut and he'd won it by Ko1 bodyshot, we'd have been moderately excited.

And as his entire career until now SHOULD have been off-tv, we can sorta consider that a debut. He looks like a boxer at least !

And to think we used to get the big ITV cards for nothing. These PPV cards these days is some graft for the promoter, and as an aside, I'm not sure they are aimed at us any more, the true boxing fans. They are aimed at people mostly on the gear and bevvy , who couldn't give a toss if it goes a minute or 10 rounds. Perhaps I'm getting old.

If you are outside the top 150 at 10-0 you are usually being moved pretty slowly. The guys that are usually 11-0 ranked 400 are usually where you find the undefeated opponents that Frank usually drags in.

I see him being brought along like Connor Benn- just plenty of guaranteed wins, no consideration to belts or legacy, just a name branded cash cow.
