I think Charlo and Benavidez are Canelo's backup fights if Bivol beats him again. Charlito ain't gonna risk too much this year. I doubt he'd fight Adames this year. He'd ask the wbc for a permission to take another soft fight. wbc knows very well that Canelo vs Charlo would be a good money fight and that Charlo needs to keep his 0 and his status of wbc mw champion safe and protected to sell them vs Canelo.
