Joshua’s career has revolved around avoiding Wilder. It’s not going to change now.rob h wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 17:00 It's sink or swim time for Joshua now. Stick him in with Wilder. It would be a decent fight. If he wins, great, if he loses then he goes out with a bang.
I'm sick to death of both Whyte and Chisora. It's like fornicating groundhog day everytime I see them linked with another big fight.

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. TBA | DAZN - July 2023
Franklin went the distance with Whyte and Joshua. He's one of those guys who is good at lasting the duration. I didn't expect Joshua to stop him. I think the criticism is over-baked.
I really think AJ can go on to have success in the future. If this is Whyte as the next opponent then fine by me. It makes sense.
Can AJ beat Fury or Wilder? Maybe? I doubt he beats Fury. Wilder is a die roll.

Who ever AJ fights next it has to be a demolition job to get people re interested and the casuals back on his side.
What I would like to see is AJ v Whyte or AJ v Lucas Browne but do a Lennox Lewis v Donovan Ruddock style in 2 rounds, a pure demolition job.
That will get the talk going again and get AJ back up there.

Looking like Usyk might be fighting Wilder next, if he beats him and having beat AJ twice, propels him way aboue Fury Fury don't you think?BigDoofus wrote: ↑08 Apr 2023, 02:49Joshua’s career has revolved around avoiding Wilder. Come fight night Joshua vs Whyte will be held in a half empty stadium (Mark my words). Those Londoners ain't that stupid. They will save their money for the BIG ONE.
Eddie is making too many mistakes.
People are getting fed up with tight pants tooney.
Does AJ want the BIG money? well then fight Mr Fury.![[icon_notworthy.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_notworthy.gif)

Well when FW was asked about that fight the other day he basically wouldn't comment so what does that tell you.quickeyg wrote: ↑08 Apr 2023, 09:06 Come fight night Joshua vs Whyte will be held in a half empty stadium (Mark my words). I highly doubt it probably Whyte asking too much.
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. TBA | DAZN - December 2023
Dumb move to sit out that long. He would be better off keeping busy against another one or two Franklin type opponents than waiting until December for a fight with Whyte/Fury/Wilder.

He probably can't afford tick over fights. His guarantees must be enormous and he can't even sell out The O2. All or nothing now.
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. TBA | DAZN - December 2023
Saudi Arabia's offer must've come in.

Saudi usually do their big fights in December.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑09 Apr 2023, 13:23Yeh. We knew he wouldn’t fight 3 times.

Site fee or PPV or both needed for his next fight.
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. TBA | DAZN - December 2023

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. TBA | DAZN - December 2023

Come on guys. Can't expect someone to get a decent ped cycle in over 4 weeks before starting camp and the random testing program again.
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. TBA | DAZN - December 2023
It's been said numerous times - but worth saying again because it's so true.
What a bad crop of heavyweights we have at the top of the division nowadays.
AJ sitting out until December is a clear indication he is after the Saudi money to cash out.
Fury seemingly looking to do the same.
Wilder looking for WWF type contest's.
Usyk having the banana skin mandatories like Dubois instead.
And old slow-joe Joyce looking in from the outside.

He's probably going to fight Whyte. Whyte already said that he's going to a have a tune-up fight in the summer before facing Joshua for a second time.

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. TBA | DAZN - December 2023
Theres no way there fighting Wilder , one punch and any dream of the massive Fury fight is over ,, its gonna be a low level fight maybee Whyte , while the negotiations for Fury go on in the back ground ,,
Eddie knows AJ is one fight , one punch from being retired , him and Dazn will want to get returns on there money . Be interested to see Franklin - Wilder ,,
Poor Joe Joyce well he's out in Limbo is'nt he guy his age should really be calling out the champs for his crack , but he's not , makes me think he's been told to keep it shut especielly regards Fury , because thats easy to make , Jocye would accept peanuts same promoter , ect ect , but he's not asking for it .
Personaly i think the day Dubois was made mandatory it scuppered any Fury -Usyk fight , being Let Dubois have a crack , if he lands an hail mary on Usyk , and wins , the intention will be to get Fury - dubois on has quickly has possible it will be made inside a month
