Greetings everyone. Kind of new here. Wanted to start with a mythical fight I've been thinking of lately.
Vasyl Lomachenko vs Diego Corrales at 135lbs.
I think, it's a pretty interesting match-up. Loma is widely considered to be an undersized lightweight. Corrales was pretty big and long at this weight. Also, IMO, Corrales' resume and ability is somewhat underrated these days. Always tempting to pick a versatile boxer over him, but really - only Floyd truly picked him apart, boxing-wise (Chico was already past it against Clottey). And Diego was holding his own in each of the three Casamayor fights.
Would Corrales' power (even punches that would be landing on arms and gloves) make Loma somewhat timid, as he was early in the Teo fight? Would Corrales' be able to push Loma back consistently? Would Loma's footwork befuddle Chico? How do you see it going?

Corrales has a punchers chance, and loses every round that he don't connect with one of those big bombs in.
Which incidentally...is probably gonna be every round.

Lomachenko by decision after outboxing the taller Corrales behind his southpaw jabs and counters.
