If so I don't think I've Ever seen him questioned on it.

Wouldlnt even bother

Joke of a fight.

Pac is a legend, mad that he would entertain a fool like Benn, not for me.

Read the book The years of the locust.

He was a dodgy manager/promoter in the 90’s.

Even if Manny does need the money surely there are bigger money making fights out there than Benn who nobody had heard of. before he was exposed as a drug cheat.

It’s not even as if little Conor has gained great notoriety by for example being caught doping in a fight where his opponent was seriously injured. He’s just a standard British level fighter with a famous dad who got caught doping twice - how does this sell and who to ???

There’s a misfits tag team fight being discussed.

Manny Pacquiao Agrees To Conor Benn Fight

Conor Benn’s comeback looks set to be made official soon, and Manny Pacquiao is willing and ready to come out of retirement to challenge the undefeated Brit.

Benn had been expected to finally take on Chris Eubank Jr and complete a one-of-a-kind familial trilogy that spans over two generations of fighters.

The fight was scheduled for October last year, but cancelled in the wake of Benn’s notorious failed drugs tests.

Despite Eubank being the frontrunner for the 26-year-old’s Middle Eastern return fight, news recently broke that he will be bypassing Benn to attempt to avenge his defeat to Liam Smith instead.

Planet Sport reports that one of the other options – Manny Pacquiao – is willing to step up to the plate, almost two years since retirement following his defeat to Yordenis Ugas.

Head of MP Promotions and advisor of Senator Manny Pacquiao, Sean Gibbons, said as much.

“Manny Pacquiao has agreed to fight Conor Benn. Do me a favour, call Eddie Hearn. The ball is in his court. Senator Manny Pacquiao is happy to fight Conor Benn. Agreed – please call Eddie Hearn,”

“You know, we are looking at a few different options. We are looking at things, we are trying to figure some stuff out, so I hope something happens,”

There were previous rumours that Pacquiao would be the man to face Benn upon his return, although this is the most concrete news yet that the controversial fight has taken a step forward.

With Eubank unavailable, it appears that Benn has a choice between two retired former world champions, with Kell Brook’s name also linked to the bout which is expected to take place on June 3 in the UAE. An unnamed American opponent has also been mentioned.

So is part of the Benn management bs tactics to stall the finalisation of the UKAD investigation, by putting off sit down meetings, just so they can squeeze in a cash-cow fight overseas? My understanding is that is UKAD issue a ban, then Benn would not then be able to fight for any licensing body which uphold the WADA code. That should be all of America and certainly Australia. Not sure about dodgy Saudi exactly?! Talk about gaming the system!

Reminds me a bit of Khan v Barrera - I still reckon if Barrera hadn't got cut, he would have flattened Khan at some point - he wobbled him badly with a jab at one point.

It would be pretty sad to see Pacman get smashed up by Benn due to age and inactivity, he's always had a very good chin, so doubt he will get stopped, but at his age, anything can happen.

Would be hard to feel sorry for Benn if Manny came in looking like the Rock and smushed him.

A world contender going in for a bout against an old timer. Serious ambitions then.

I'm really not up for this.
Pac should retire, and Benn should not be fighting this soon.

That’s where I am. I’d much rather Pac retire. The sad thing is that I’d still probably watch though.

Pac should be fighting Connor McGregor, Floyd mayweather or jake Paul. That’s it really.

If he were to face a prime boxer it should be way out of there weight, loma, tank, Garcia… guy is old and coming off the back of a presidential campaign…

It's a tale as old as the sport itself. An old name being encouraged to come back and chase glory, against a man they would have easily beaten in their primes.

Why doesn't he just fight an exhibition with Mayweather, or Marquez.

Good point. Both, even in 'exhibition' guise would sell massively. Umm, I do recall seeing Marquez looking a bit 'full of life' lately ;-)
On the other hand, I think Manny just loves to fight. Maybe exhibitions don't cut it for him.
