Interesting to see David Adeleye dwarfed by both of them, there.

They're certainly human beings that you'd have to double take if they walked past you. Almost a different species.

Joyce’s got a very short right bicep. Must have torn it off the bone some years ago. Doesn’t seem to effect him at all though.

Got to feel for Mayer. 2 fights over here been canned days before she was due to box, both out of her control.

Arguably a bit unlucky on the cards against Baumgardner, too.

She looked very stiff when I first saw her fight a couple of years ago but looks an improved fighter. It helps that she's quite fit as well.

I reckon Joyce has done the right thing dropping a bit of weight. His stamina needs to be tip top for this fight.

Zhang may show fatigue in his fights, but still takes a lot of shifting !

I'm quite worried that as soon as he shows some fatigue and eats a jab, Foster will be diving in!

I remember in the second Froch fight, after Groves was floored heavily, he was still trying to get up and Foster was trying to pin him down!

Foster did the first fight but I thought a U.S ref did the rematch. He did pin him down though.

People forget that old Grovesy was up and ready to fight on. He was in no state to though

Some good odds on Zhilei winning early. 100-1 on some of those early rounds. If he’s going to do it surely it’s in the first 6.

I remember the Hrgovic fight,, and Hrgovic hit him with everything including the stool, the ring post and the spit bucket and couldn't shift him

Yes, gosh I couldn't believe the early KO odds for Zhang.
They are hardly that skewed for HW's with good KO records like Zhang.
It's the legend of Joyce's chin kicking in. :OhYes:
I wanted to put a wee bit on Zhang, but I've bought into "The Chin" too!

The key to beating Joyce is body shots. Far easier said than done of course, but Bryant Jennings had Joyce hurt with body shots (briefly).

Great odds for sure on an early Zhang stoppage, but at the same time it's probably akin to throwing your money down the drain betting on someone to blow away Joyce early :maybe:

when iron chin guys get stretched.......it's often very early before they ever get into it. chins can be funny early on

im 90 percent sure it goes like how we expect, but zhang's early power makes it interesting. after the first few rounds though, it will be going all downhill for zz

Very true, even some remarkably tough heavyweights (off the top of my head Dempsey, Cobb) suffered their sole stoppage defeats in the 1st round after getting hurt very early. John Ruiz at a lower level also (until the Haye fight very late on)

Zhang is quite respected on these forums I’ve noticed.

Yea just put some money on zhang early.

Round 1 at 100-1
Round 1 or 2 at 50-1
And round 1,2,3 or 4 25-1
(Already had zhang ko 13-1)

I think joe stops him in 5 ish rounds, but Joyce blocking with his chin vs a big southpaw bit of value in him being caught early.
