I had a dream last night where Zhang knocked Joyce spark out in ten seconds of the first round! I would bet on that but for some reason Joe Joyce looked exactly like Daniel Dubois in that dream :maybe:

Yep, I'm not getting up that early, and paying for a non title fight as well.
The only saving grace is both guys are sturdy, so it probably won't end in a few rounds.

A good thing though.
I think he a good fighter and a tough man. There was another hyped Chinese heavy. I can't remember his name. He seemed to disappear

Joyce is a freak of nature !

In absolutely shredded shape (for a heavyweight) and still over 255lbs with the best stamina of any elite heavyweight this side of the millennium.

His stamina should win this for him . Z seems to lack a bit of gas

Joyce reminds me of lennox, no big bulging muscles, just a naturally big guy.

Looking forward to this, think its going to be a proper tear up.

Just jumped on this thread, manic life. Keen to watch this, but it appears with BT it’s not PPV, so is everyone doing the £29 pcm BT sport thing ?

Thanks !

I’ve not seen much of Zhang, but he can really punch can he?
In which case, with Joe being so open to getting hit, he might get caught cold in the 1st at 100-1 …could be a fun bet, not that I wanna see Joe lose…

I’ve told the story on the forum before but I trained alongside this guy years back in the early 2000’s. Obviously I didn’t spar him. I never saw him spar. He was too big for any of us. He was only a kid when I met him- 16 or something? But we all figured he would go onto something, he was just so huge: he would end up famous somehow.

I was interested to see he turned out to be a heavyweight boxer. But he wasn’t very good. And then just disappeared.

Ian darke calling the football on BT sport just now, reminding viewers to watch big Joe later ( And how one of the players dad fought Ricky Hatton ) BT sports are really missing a trick not just moving Ian onto the big fights; he really is one of the very best… though I think their guy Fletcher is surprisingly good as well

He's said he's not interested in doing the boxing anymore I believe, such a shame he was the absolute Don :salut: Brings back some good memories, chipping in for PPV's with mates and staying up till 5am afyer a skin full of beer and hearing him and Glen doing the big fights.
