Zhang already had slowed by the time of the stoppage, joe was outeorking him i had it pretty even the cards. Joe clearly couldnt see the punches coming and he could have gotten hurt badly.

Joe looked very flat in there, no movement at all, stood right in front of him eating shots. Joes chin didnt seem anywhere near as sturdy as usual.

Did he over train?

Rematch? Cant see any other route back for Joyce....

Fun fight while it lasted. Zhang did well and deserves credit, however, Usyk takes both these guys to school.

You ain't learning defence at his stage of his career .

The eye injury did decide the fight in the end, and quite possibly did Zhang a nice favour.

Joyce did get hurt but didn’t stay hurt. Considering what a lump Zhang is, Joyce didn’t look to be suffering cardio wise.

The eye injury didn’t decide the fight, the straight left landing every single time did. He needs to learn at left one form of defence

Joyce was on the verge of being knocked down twice. Very lucky the second time to get his feet under him.

Frampton talking bollocks saying Joyce can beat everyone but must stay away from southpaws. Usyk is a southpaw, Fury can fight southpaw and the rematch is against a southpaw.

That would be sound advice for the future, but eyes don’t automatically swell up and close in every fight, just because punches are landed.

The eye injury decided the fight, on this night.

That was an exciting fight. From the first round when Zhang wobbled Joyce I was on the edge of my seat!
:box:
Congrats to Zhang, his cardio may be absolutely sh*t, but his power isn't.

No man, it is. Zhang is a really good heavyweight boxer.
Joe Joyce is more worse than Zhang is good. Just my opinion.

In the Uk there is WAY to much brown nosing our fighters. Joyce is awful really. Zhang will get beat once he steps up. After he totally wreaks Joyce in the rematch ..

They're talking like Joyce is 27 rather than 37. His old man face will bust up like that every time now. Tony Tucker got that injury at 35 and never recovered. I think it's over for Joyce. You can't just eat punches and you can't change at nearly 40.

Joyce obviously couldn’t continue but was far from a beaten man. Bit of a stretch to be predicting Joyce getting wreaked in a return.

Joyce just needs to go back, assess the loss and adjust in the rematch.

All top 5 HWs are able to do that….

Lose the first one, change up, win the second

I thought he said that but got dds name wrong! Maybe i heard it wrong. Zhang reminds me of the 2nd george foreman as his punches are deceptively harder than they look :bag:

Credit where due , Zangs left hand was deceptivly fast for a big fella early in the fight ,, he done the damage and got the stoppage , no eye injury Joe would of took ovef in the later rnds , zang was gettking tiredb,, but heh , he worked for the stoppage and got it good on him , zang lands that left hand early he stops fury and Aj , he does,nt Fury makes him lolk slow and stupid after rnd 5 Aj wins easy if he survives the first 4, but Zang will now become very unpopular
