No, the almighty Jerry schooled him.
I thought the draw was fair :maybe:
It's weird that Zhang could have scored a win there, and a clear one against Hrg if he hadn't run out of gas so early. Same thing last night against Joyce, out of gas after 4, and if it weren't for the eye, Joyce looked to be racking up the later rounds for another close loss for Zhang.
Even if to count the Forrest bout as a draw, it woud have been so because of the knockdowns. Apart of those early on, Zhang couldn't do almost anything.

I give Zhang a pass for that Forrest fight..

Zhilei Zhang experienced kidney failure, liver damage, anemia in fight with Jerry Forrest

Wasn’t just suffering from stamina issues.

BLH caught up with Zhang’s co-manager Terry Lane of Lane Brothers Boxing after the dust settled. I asked if it was basically a stamina issue, but Lane replied, “Actually more serious than that. Zhang had a great camp. For some reason, he was extremely dehydrated and his kidneys began to fail during the fight. He also had very low iron levels and we learned he was anemic.”

“He was rushed to the hospital and wasn’t released for three days. Head and heart were fine, thank god. But he feels good, and we are talking to some medical professionals to get to the bottom of what happened and what is going on with him. But he will be back. Matchroom has been very supportive.”

Excuses. It was the mighty Jerry, who beat the iron, liver, kidneys and sh1t out of Zhang. :box:

Joyce turned his back in round two, but instead of being deducted a point, the referee split them. Foster is a crap referee.

Turning ur back doesn’t equal point deduction.

Especially if it’s the first time it’s done.

It warranted a talking to for sure.

Joyce suffered a good series of punches, so if no knockdown, the referee shouldn't have split them - this action clearly saved Joyce from more punishment. But Foster is known for being a bad one.
