Zhang isn’t that good. Worse than Ruiz in loads of ways.
Styles make fights, Zhang was all wrong for Joyce, but he would suit Fury
I agree. Weird matchmaking. Negated all of Joe's strengths.
Agreed , Fury moves well and moves his head , , Zang the easiest fight out there for Fury ,, I've said for a long time Ruiz if he stays off the mars bars which i think he would for Fury could be a real banana skin . Usyl - Aj well enoughs been said about them its boring now

I'm hoping Andy Ruiz, then Zhang in the fall or winter. Either way I think Fury beats them both comfortably. No offense to Zhang but at the end of the day all he's done is beat a European ranked heavyweight and was robbed against another European ranked heavyweight.

So many people were high on Joyce that they've overrated him and made the win last night look bigger than it really was. Zhang is big and strong and tough, but he's slow and ponderous and doesn't have a good gas tank. Plus he's nearly 40 years old.

But, that being said if Fury fights both Ruiz and Zhang this year it will optically look better for Fury than Usyk's bouts against Dubois and Hrgovic. So it definitely would boost Fury's image cus nobody cares about Dubois or Hrgovic.

right, hopefully fury fights ruiz and zhang instead of usyk, that would really be the way to show fury is superior to usyk

Fury has been bad for the sport; that's my honest opinion. People, including yourself, can have a different opinion on this .. that's the basis of a boxing forum. It's not hard to understand the rest Mick

You are correct in saying Fury has fought in his opponents country 'a few times' .. a few times indeed.
The point about Usyk is that Fury makes a lot of promises about fighting people .. but then ducks them; Usyk being the latest.

Of course his PR team would claim they want to fight Zhang in China next (it's the latest news from Fury no surprises) .. but despite this true fighting man's liking of fighting in his opponents country .. he'll likely face Charr in the UK next.

That's not true though, is it? Only Zhang has mentioned Fury, obviously as he is the champion. The papers have ran with that. I bet you he doesn't face Charr in The UK next?

I said a better YEAR.

Ruiz and Zhang would be more meaningful than Dubois and Hrgovic. Nobody can argue against that. Everybody thinks Zhang was robbed against Hrgovic, and he's just beaten Joyce. It would be a better year than Usyk.

Furthermore, you said it yourself weeks ago, most people think Fury could beat Usyk anyways which is why people are pissed Fury let the fight evaporate with his prima dona attitude over the whole thing.

Tabloid headlines:
The cash-crazed 34-year-old WBC champ blew the undisputed decider with WBA, IBF and WBO king Oleksandr Usyk by moving the goalposts over money.
Add to hold talks of a fight with Zhang in China .. it's nonsense of course and just a PR stunt to paint Fury as the 'true fighting man' he likes portraying himself as - and as usual using another fighters name to promote himself.

All very predictable Fury isn't it.

*Unlikely Charr - just as unlikely Zhang in China :TU:

beating usyk would be far bigger than beating ruiz and zhang. and the best way to outdo usyk is to actually fight and beat him. that's the only way fury can actually defeat usyk. some ruiz + zhang victory by proxy stuff is just nonsense

usyk is the top man out there for fury to fight, the unified champ who is the route to the undisputed title. nothing else compares for meaningfulness.

Don't worry, Doofus, there will be no doubt tens of thousands of giveaways that not one person on here could get their hands on. I asked loads of people at shows, etc, nobody had heard of any either.

Bloody hell. It wasn't all that long ago, during the Usyk duck, that Fury was branded 'an embarrassment' and had 'lost the plot'. Fast forward just a month or so and it's a full on Fury plum sucking session again. Those are the fans he loves to have.

I don't have much interest in watching Fury fight again to be honest.

Im glad that The Ring Magazine has Usyk as the top dog in the division. It reflects that Uysk is the main man.

It’s either been a “full on Fury plum sucking session” or The Gratest Troll is imagining it.

Facts are facts and there is no disputing Tyson Fury is probably the best heavy out there , there is no doubt whatsoever about that , but the problem is he is just content to let his fan boys shout him up , his father shout him up and then himself tell us all he is , BUT he will not prove it , he has refused to fight the two men who wins over would propel him into the actual and factual UNDEFEATED CHAMPION of the WORLD .

and what makes it worse is the simple fact that even the people who don't like him would say he has to be favorite , but we will never know because he started this duck and dive bollocks a while ago and is getting older and with every month that goes by his chances of winning diminish , and thats why i don't think you will see these fights . I'm not even sure he would fight Zang now after seeing him demolish Joyce

Lets not forget we can go back a LONG LONG time of Tyson having history of ducking what were considered live opponents . how long ago was it he refused to fight Price , it was,nt a few weeks ago was it

“facts are facts” but you fail to mention one opponent not training for 3 December and the other fleeing to Poland before pulling out.
As Fury “is getting older”, name the fighter that isn’t.
