Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
It's either going to be Shannon Briggs or George Foreman.
Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
Lolololol. Look at that list of meat. Tyson Fury is the BIGGEST pussy that I’ve seen in 40 years of watching boxing.

Knowing Fury, he'll 'retire' for 3 years then re-emerge claiming to be the linear champion.
Tom Schawrz and Sefer Seferi better stay in the limelight because they might be getting phone calls circa 2026.

Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next? Is Joshua ok? No because he's been defeated 3 times already. That face he made lol.

Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
Why is usyk out of the question for later this year?
I don't think usyk or fury is planning on fighting more than once this year.
at a later date EVERYBODY INVOLVED WILL MAKE EVEN MORE MONEY!!
and that is the one and only reason it didn't get made now!

If money was the reason, Fury would've taken the saudi offer. They not gonna give later more then they would now.adislav123 wrote: ↑09 Apr 2023, 08:23 Why is usyk out of the question for later this year?

It wasn't about the money, it was about ducking. And Tyson fumbles did the biggest ducking in boxing history.

Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
Well he said Usyk or Joyce so .... must be Joyce. A brutal opponent.
Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
I see Andy Ruiz Jr being mentioned in the press. A good opponent. Might be hard for a tall guy to fight.
But seriously, have to lose a bit of respect for Fury. Claiming to be the Big man, top dog. A mandatory against Whyte, fine. An easy give me fight against Chisora. Acceptable only on the condition it's a warm up for Undisputed. Then prices himself out of Undisputed fight, shame.
Usky is still top level but 36. Dodging him this year would be / is shameful.

Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
short plodding ruiz is tailor made for fury to outpoint widely. jab and move a bit, joshua almost got a 12-0 when he stuck to that.
Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
Hasn't Hearn recently talked about Joshua fighting Fury?

Probably be usyk next. but not for a long long time.
Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
I change my previous choice now from Joyce to Zhang. ZZ is perfect for Fury.
Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
Zhang in China. Agree....
Or Hrgovic in Saudi Arabia

Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
ZHANG BEATS FURY.
I Just watched some of Zhangs previous fights.
He has never been hurt a is just about the complete fighter. He beats Fury by 8 rounds
The Punching power and output is the best in the division. He can box at long range and as Hgovic found out he can box on the inside

Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
So it's Andy Ruiz on July 22.
Ruiz Is tailor made for Tyson Fury. Anthony Joshua doesn’t have good footwork and he was able to easily stay on the outside against Ruiz in the rematch. Fury will pepper the short fat boxer with jabs all fight.

Re: Who will Tyson Fury fight next?
Outside of the top five: Fury, Usyk, Joshua, Wilder and Ruiz... I think everyone else in the heavyweight division is clearly head and shoulders below them. So when somebody says Zhang would be a threat I can't take it seriously. Joyce was a European level heavyweight who the British (once again) elevated in their minds to be higher than he actually was. Zhang is only slightly above that level.
But since so few fights happen people want to jump on the bandwagon of guys who are fighting most recently. There is literally nothing that the Chinaman offers that Fury hasn't seen before. He's big, strong, slow, and hits hard. The only thing Zhang has that others don't quite have is the willingness to get in there and trade. But he doesn't have the best engine in the world.
Ruiz on the other hand, even if Fury beats him 12 rounds to 0, is a necessary fight to be made to further cleanup the division of all previous title holders. It'd be a good fight to have on Fury's resume, and he'd certainly get all the rust off of him. I suspect we will see a leaner Tyson Fury who looks more like the version who outboxed Wladimir Klitschko just to demonstrate that he still has that capability of fast movements.

Ruiz vs Zhang would be very intriguing. However is Zhang would have the chance to fight Fury or someone like that first he absolutely should.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑21 Apr 2023, 17:48 Outside of the top five: Fury, Usyk, Joshua, Wilder and Ruiz... I can't imagine we'll ever see the Fury that fought Klitschko again because I can't imagine anyone else just standing there looking at him for 12 rounds doing f*ck all of nothing.
