I don't think I dislike many more people in boxing lately as Davis.
I'd love to see him smoked , but can't see it tbh .

Anyone know why Ryan acquiesced to all of Tank's demands? He was already up against it and now he's further handicapped. Seems like with his profile and following, and having the Hype Machine behind him, he could pick and choose an easier route, like waiting for a can and a vacant belt. Golden Boy either really believe in him (and to me he showed some special qualities versus Campbell) or it's a Tyrell Biggs, Leon Spinks type situation where they know they have a liability and they want to cash out while the money's still good.

The latter id say. His relationship with Oscar is strained. He’s also
Had prolonged periods out of the ring due to his mental health. They’ve built him up time to cash out.

I for one hope he pulls it off. Davis strikes me as a tool of the highest order. And as good as he is, avoids the big risky fights. Loma, Teofimo, Haney et al all fight each other yet Tank has yet to fight any of them.

Garcia is getting a bit disrespected in this, he's not a media creation. Didn't he box Haney six times in the ams? He's a live underdog.

Same here, the guy is pond life, but he can really fight. Hope Garcia can do it though, he would be much better as the face of boxing

I've got Tank Davis winning this by TKO in between rounds 8-10

I think it would be better for boxing if Garcia won this fight though. Either way I hope this fight sets off a trend of more fighters wanting to take competitive, hard fights

But I doubt it, it will still be the same old 50 s**t fights to 1 good one

WAYNE MCCULLOUGH is often good with his predictions .. so I'll go against my head and pick Garcia to be the special fighter he believes he is.

*The call about cashing him in because of his on/off relationship with ODLH rings true though .. Garcia was too precious for Canelos camp ..
Getting harder to be confident about him :witzend:

I worry for Garcia here. I think he is out of his depth and I can see this ending violently for him.

May the best man win.

Which one's the nice guy? Ryan? He was knobbing girls behind his wife's back while she was pregnant with his child!

Perceptions, it's all about the perceptions.
And love 'knobbing', I'll try to use that one whenever I can

Hardly crime of the century. Can you imagine the kind of quality that is begging him for a shag every time he opens his phone?

You'd need the discipline of one of those tibetan monks.

I think he comes out of the Gatti school in terms of heart. We saw it briefly vs Campbell. Tank on the other hand has avoided fights and looked like a diva. Not sure he has the same kind of heart.

Is anyone enduring the Showtime undercard on YouTube? Two absolute cretins swapping bad jokes while the fighters go at it. Production really has reached an all-time low with presentation and commentary.

29 - 28 Bek. They are both too gun-shy for obvious reasons.
