But first let's see if you're brave enough to rematch Hunter
Martin Bakole & Dillian Whyte

Re: Martin Bakole & Dillian Whyte
He'll probably end up rematching Haruna, he's unbeaten in his last two and he's picked up a couple of titles.
Re: Martin Bakole & Dillian Whyte
Whyte getting a taste of his own medicine...and doesn't like being the hunted !
Bakole making a fool of himself implying Whyte is coward....Dillian's record is far more impressive than Martin's.
That said, it's a fight i'd want to watch and move's the winner into world title contention.

What's wrong with Bakole-Whyte? It should be a fan favourite crossroads fight. Whyte has some decent wins but is coming off some poor performances and Bakole looking like a top prospect who faltered against Hunter. Who wouldn't want to see it?joshj909 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2023, 12:05Billy and Bakole trying to talk their way into a big fight when Bakole should be fighting his way there. Why should people take notice of someone that just beat Ihor Shevadzutskyi? If he fought more regularly there's plenty of opponents that Sky could afford which would build his name and increase his opportunities. It reminds me of when Ortiz was supposedly the boogeyman but most people hadn't heard of him.
I'm not sure Whyte has better options either if Wilder, Usyk and AJ are tied up which they are. So there's no cash out there, which he would of wanted. Debouis has the Usyk mandatory. Joyce looks like he's rematching Zang. But if he doesn't Joyce-Whyte might make sense. So Whyte doesn't have any clear fights in the next year. At least against Bakole he could demand the A-side purse.
I suppose Whyte might want to wait around until AJ loses again and wants to sign off his career on a win because that would be a payday at least
Re: Martin Bakole & Dillian Whyte
Would be a great round - I don't think Whyte would last much longer than that.
I see Bakole and Hrgović as very possibly the top two contenders about now.

Re: Martin Bakole & Dillian Whyte
Nothing wrong with the fight itself but they can't act like people are ducking them when they're not offering much in terms of money or exposure or prestige. Whyte is reportedly in talks with a fight against AJ which is big money against a top contender, he could probably face Joyce and be the A side and get decent money there, he could face Zhang or Hrgovic etc. The problem isn't the fight, it's a great fight, it's why should Whyte want to face Bakole when Bakole has done nothing to even be on the radar of Whyte other than shout at him while he was attending an event while offering nothing else.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote: ↑24 Apr 2023, 13:11What's wrong with Bakole-Whyte? As long as whyte has a sniff at AJ he is not fighting Bakole.

Thing is when Whyte lost to Povetkin and Fury he didn't take too much punishment.billy nelson wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023, 01:33the rewards are Whyte gets paid very handsomely by Boxxer and he’d get martins No2 ranking in WBA
Risks, he gets smashed to bits
Win or lose, anyone fighting Martin Bakole is in for a career-shortening scrap. He beats people up.

Bakole stops Whyte.......without question. Whyte is shot.
Re: Martin Bakole & Dillian Whyte - beeepppp beeep.
Make this fight & stick it on Sky Box Office PPV. (Back story is a little mashed up) but it would sell.
Oh yeah, by the way
Deontay Wilder got cold feet over a potential Martin Bakole fight (He went real quiet)

Just because you bring nothing to the table for anyone to show an interest in fighting you doesn’t make you a boogeyman / avoided.

Everyone goes mental when Whyte gets a PPV fight (probably barring Fury as the purse bid was so big.)
If Whyte v Bakole was made on PPV there would be the boxrec equivalent of the Nuremberg trials.
