Ray "Windmill" White is listed at cruiserweight, although the division didn't exist when he fought at that weight in the 60's. White was a heavyweight who moved down to the light heavyweight class. Please fix!
Ray "Windmill" White Incorrect Division?!?
Re: Ray "Windmill" White
Ray "Windmill" White was a light-heavyweight. I remember him
well because:
1. He is from my home area, Ventura County.
2. He fought Lonnie Bennett in the main event on the
first professional boxing card that I saw in person.
3. He got lots of ink in the Ventura County Star-Free Press
and in the boxing publications of the day.
4. He was the clown prince of boxing at the time, a boxer
who was known for his antics in the ring. Believe me,
there were many times when boxing fans were "in stitches"
when watching him fight.
