a lot of these rounds are close, i could certainly see some of them going to villabos. lawson get outmanned at times and spends too many spells on the ropes to be putting them all beyond doubt

Lawson to me is that ineffective type of slickness.
He has looked uncomfortable at times on 4 + rounds

Villalobos hasn’t really looked uncomfortable once.

You can look slick, but if the crude guy is landing the bigger shots…

I honestly think there’s a good shout for him winning plenty of rounds too. Clearly less “skilled” but landed the bigger shots.

Dazn had their story they wanted to… coms were loving Lawson. Not saying it’s a robbery and I can see the 96-94 cards, although I think I’d of found 5 Mabey 6 rounds for villa..

Coms decided to take a look at the final punch stats…. But then only showed the jab stats just to help tell there story.

I love a good jab, but I feel people can get carried away scoring weak jabs as “the sweet science” and clubbing rights as “crude brawling”…
