Buatsi throwing the right hand in a bit of an odd way. Turning the wrist in a weird way.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s broken or hurt his right hand.

Dunno, but I have felt for ages that his level isn't world champion. Could be wrong, but it would have to be a soft target.
Certainly crap tonight. Rusty ? Levelling out...?

I'm guessing he's not right tonight - shortened to 10 rounds and he's clearly fighting within himself...

Good point. Had thought that recently. Where’s the stand out talent? Dariusz Michalczewski has been long retired.
ya, maybe adamek too, at least at cruiser he was elite. at c+/b level they have a similar scene to uk, but then drops dramatically when getting to top level
Yeah I feel like there’s been a lot of really good Polish European champions. But when they stepped to World level a lot of them didn’t quite make it in the same way maybe our guys do.

I always see Polish opponents as tough but upright. Maybe with the same conviction I see Ghanaians as being ‘teak tough.’

This is a bit underwhelming tbh, in fact, since he turned pro I have found him a bit of a disappointment. I hope he can step it up, as I think he's a good guy, but I want to see a lot more from him.

I forgot Lyndon Arthur amongst the British light heavyweights. Obviously second Yarde fight he disappointed but I’d like to see him in the mix with these guys. Fair play we have a hell of a lot of decent light heavyweights at the moment. Seem quite evenly matched almost all of them.

That was like a sparring session, very very average. Not sure what it is with Buatsi but he was dull again.

Smith would just keep the pressure on and get Stepian out of there. Buatsis footspeed is too slow. You can see why hes turned down big fights. Happy to keep earning easy money like this. I'm bored of watching Buatsi at this point. His interviews are all boring too, you know what hes going to say and how he's going to say it. If he thinks he can just skate along and make easy money fighting these types of guys in fights like this then maybe he can but I won't be watching.

Buatsi looked at his hand and winced during the scores so I reckon he’s done his hand in.

Dunno. Could have an issue, but it wasn't to do with stamina, he was not knackered in there

Haven’t even bothered streaming this… buatsi Vs a polish guy iv never heard of just doesn’t do it for me…

Brittish light heavy has been so frustrating… imagin if buatsi last 3 years he had fought yarde, Johnson, richards, Azeez, Arthur, pitters. Mix a world title shot in, win? Great, loose? Back to these guys..

Been 6 or 7 years since buatsi won an Olympic medal, he had alll the backing in the world and a fairly exciting style, and what’s his pro highlight? He waited till all his shine was gone and then fought Craig richards…

Yeah I won't be watching him fight again unless it's against a top Brit or world level operator. Wouldn't be surprised if they make a fight against Mikhailin or someone like that. He needs to step up. He's served his apprenticeship. These types of fights turn people off boxing.

yeah, underwhelming, bad-night-at-the-office.
IF he doesn't have a decent excuse (virus in camp or whatever) then he's totally levelled out.

He seems to have got worse under VH. :maybe:

He is a good all round solid fighter.
As a pro, he seems to lack that one punch equaliser that all world champion LHW guys have

Buatsi is lacking in footspeed and workrate. I think it's just a case of wanting more middling fights to bank some money before he steps up. Something is going to have to give because he is losing a lot of the interest that was there in him. The sky marketing machine can only do so much.
