Lackluster performance. Canelo, forget Bivol, defend against Benavidez.

Agree, and soon- this year.
I wouldn't be surprised if Canelo hung them up either. He has been talking more about retirement, and he will be feeling that fight the next day because he got hit a lot by a guy not known for his speed or flashy moves. Canelo must be looking at Floyd and thinking there is a better way of earning a $

forget bivol. exactly. try to clean out 168.

realistically he has zero chance to win fairly against bivol at whatever weight except by blatantly robbing the russian with the asistance of his judges goon squad.

but he will do what he wants to and if he wants to further tarnish his legacy which in my opinion the first two ggg robberies and the atrocious scorecards in the bivol fight did big time then he will go the rematch route.

Not seen it yet.
General take seems to be Canelo won clear but Ryder manned up and gave a good account of himself.

Charlo is less active than Andrade, which says something. He's near Thurman status.

No interest in watching Charlo vs anyone after seeing him struggle with Monteil 2 yrs ago.

It certainly looks like it.

The clock is ticking faster for Saul and if he's determined to get revenge on Bivol then he'd better drag him down as low as possible.

The unfortunate thing about fighting any A Sider these days is that you have to win the first fight just in order to get the more lucrative second one.

Ryder was fully aware of this but unable to achieve it.
Bivol did achieve it and fully deserves the rematch that would bring him career high prizemoney.

What other fight is there now apart from Benavidez?

Benavidez for Saul's September outing would be a dream match but for one huge obstacle - David Benavidez is only 26 years old and improving.

Dmitry Bivol is a more palatable 32 and unlikely to improve any further.

So the Bivol rematch is the most likely.

Anything else can be considered "doing a Fury".
