Ben shalom is acting like it would be wayyy to wild for Fraze to fight wardly.

AJ fought for the brittish having never been past 3 rounds.

Joyce debut was a 10 rounder.

DDD was having 10 rounders 4th fight when he was 18… he also fought for the British having never gone past 5 with anyone other than kingpin in punching bag mode… (hardly counts)

Fraze is 31, 6-0 as a pro, but is from the no headgear and round scoring era… so ams and pros arnt so different. Add in a bunch of world boxing super series fights that are basicaly pro… is it 1 to soon? Mabey, but not taking this has hurt his credibility nearly as much as a loss, should have had a crack, probably would have won but if he lost could have said too soon and rebuilt.

Yeah. Having a 10 rounder is meaningless unless it’s a competitive fight.

He even referenced Lomachenko as though he wouldn’t do it yet Loma made his pro debut in 10 rounder and had a world title 12 rounder in his second fight.

Exactly. Clarke has said he was boxing at a higher level as an amateur as his pro opponents weren't as good as the top amateurs he boxed.

No, and i have said that many times on here. I don't even think he was elite as an amateur, as daft as that sounds.

I think it depends on what you call elite. He was probably top 10 in the world at a time where there isn’t depth of talent at super heavy.

I thought his opening fight at the Olympics was very close but he was really lucky in the quarter final that his opponent (Aliev from France) got unfairly DQ’d. I had seen Aliev beat Clarke previously and think he would have won without the DQ.

Just saw Shalom using the excuse of Clarke not being ready because he doesn't have enough rounds.

What a donkey this guy is.

Didn’t he only realise that half an hour before the purse bid?

I've never heard of the guy Clarke is shown on boxrec as fighting next.
Harry Armstrong 5-1-1 (0 KOs)
Armstrong has zero stoppages and his last two fights were a draw and a points loss.

I think they’ve realised that this fight will get a lot of stock after the Wardley stuff so they’re getting someone else in for the June date for Clarke.

No, I haven't, to be honest. I never even really watched the senior ABA's, only the lads I knew. I've been watching a lot of youths, again because I know a lot of them.

Fraze just said his next opponent won’t be Harry Armstrong.

Claimed it was Harry Armstrong when wardly was next but now that that’s gone it won’t be Harry Armstrong…

Not great in terms of vibing the wardly vs Fraze this year.

Shalom said Hearn broke the news that it was Harry Armstrong.

2 days or the day before on boxrec Frazer was down as fighting Armstrong, I said it on this thread before Hearn did.

So get it right Shalom. James Wilson on boxrec broke the news that Clarke was fighting Harry Armstrong.

Eddie’s always been a bit of a cock. At least he’s open about that though.

Shalom’s been saying how he’s different from all of the others yet he isn’t and I don’t think we’ve ever had as little U.K. boxing on Sky Sports than we get now (bar covid) and the quality of the shows hasn’t been particularly good either.

I think the reailty is Shalom was frightened half to death on going into a purse bid situation and losing.

He has openely stated he offerd Wardley a 1 fight deal to make the fight that now suddenly he doesnt want to make, because Clarke is a future PPV elite level superstar and he has to protect him when no one else is.

Shalom is finally being scutinised and he's falling well short, the amount of contradicitions is staggering. Remember when he was going to change how fights where scored after the Taylor fight, and people went 'oh what a breath of fresh air our Ben is'

Soon as he sat net to Taylor and was asked about the scoring he shat his load - Ended up making a mess of the rematch and losing Catteral to another promoter.

If i was BBBoC or Ed I would ice out frazer for that fvck around... . hope that dosent happen.

Fraze, Wardly, adeley, Allen, Massey, Dacres, Gorman, Fisher, Moses Itauma, kash ali.... I like just about any combo of fight with them.... (not all same levle, but there all names with ambition to win a brittish title...). get em into it.

He only offered Wardley a deal so he could claim in the press afterwards that he had tried to make the fight.

A complete paper offer that Wardley was never going to accept with his own team backing him in the purse bid.

It’s contradictory anyway - he said it was too early for Clarke. Why is he trying to make the fight then? Full of BS.

Ed makes the good point about Ben shalom stating frazer wasnt ready and that they offered fabio a carrer high purse... "If frazer isnt ready why did you off fabio a carreer high purse" *not ed says it wasnt carrer high...

Also said sky could share the offer (ben said he would with eds permision)...

If the next person interviewing ben shalom picks up on these points its going to be rough for ben shalom because it simly dosent make sense....

I don’t think either of these boys are going anywhere, and it just shows you how thin on the ground the boxxer stable is, when shalom is so worried about a journeyman heavyweight in the making being found out too soon, before he’s got a chance to bluff his way to a few PPV’s ( yes hello Delboy we’re talking about you and plz do keep late 2024 free )
