Just kidding, 119-110 (or 119-109) Bivol... But I could see how I scored some of the early rounds back then with my tired, tipsy, dreary Canelo glasses without realising most of the mexicans punches clearly landing on Bivol's shoulders.

You'll get over it.
Upsets can catch us out.
I had Bivol taking it by 3, it was a superb performance. It was one of those fights where one guy is slowly slipping back in points, but you kinda expect him to get back into it with his power.

Off topic but I had bjs vs canelo a lot closer than what the judges had it. Granted Bjs still lost but they said he was pretty much losing everything. I thought he was nicking a few rounds and was looking sharp. It just made me think "what's the point if judges will just do that". Yep I've had a bevvy

a much better score this time my man, i think i had it 9-3 or 10-2 bivol. a few early rounds and the 9th could've gone to nelo

How would it play out at 168?

good question, bivol never strikes me as being a big light heavy and he seems very confident about his abilities at 168. i think he'd still get the better of canelo, but the issue of getting a fair shake is always there. based on cards from the first fight, canelo would basically just need to do a tiny bit better

The weight dispute for the rematch seems a rare problem where both Bivol and Canelo are perceived to be pushing for the harder option , Canelo obviously wants to prove he doesn't need to drag Bivol down to beat him and Bivol obviously wants to become undisputed at Super Middle and not have to drag Canelo up from his natural weight class to beat him him again, I've always loved the idea of Bivol at 168, he's always been a small Light Heavy

It shouldn't be hard to solve, Bivol deserves to have to have the ultimate say and hope he does because this will be a better fight at 168 imo

A fair assessment by both. I'm shocked Ryder had the success he did, but I think a lot of that is he has improved after the Blackwell stoppage!
