Unfortunately, the trouble at todays schools finals has been much worse. Same every single year. It will have to go behind closed doors soon. you can't even ban a few clubs, I'd say over half the bouts have travelling boys in, some from some of the biggest families all feuding with each other.

Maybe they should insist that the boxers are proven to be of school age and also actually go to school - that should get rid of the problem

If the boxer cannot prove that they are of school age or cannot prove that they actually attend a school then they shouldn't be allowed to enter the schoolboys.

I know what you’re implying. The ones I know are definitely of that age. The travellers don’t attend after year 7. Some are in alternative education. Usually a boxing club with funding from government that runs education alongside training Monday to Friday. The one I know who looked the oldest last year is not a traveller. He’s a black heavyweight from my area and is 100% at school. I see him with his mates in uniform every day. Even this year he only had one bout en route to the youth final, against a 6’9 16 year old in the Yorkshire regional final, he’s impossible to match, thankfully with England now so should box internationally. And his family won’t cause problems, they’re middle class white doctors.

Hosea just hasn't got the reactions late in fights. It gets very easy for his opponents to land from range. Zorro realised he could just dip and land the long range right hand every time until he starched him. Hosea just defensively breaks down late in fights. Not that he's prime Mayweather when hes fresh. I would have liked to have seen more feints, faster feet, better head movement and a tighter defence but when you are making the kinds of mistakes late in fights that he makes, you're always going to lose. He just can't seem to anticipate the punches late in fights and falls apart, which is understandable when your opponent can't miss you with power punches.

The heavyweight you are talking about isn't causing the trouble.

Just caught up with this card, some stunning highlight reel KOs, Zorro vs Burton was a cracker, I had it even going into the 7th, both mens noses looked broken and bloody, Burton boxed well behind the long jab and occasionally landed the the right hand, Zorro always looked dangerous with his own right and you always felt if it landed on the upright Burton then it could be curtains, sure enough he rocked him with it in the 7th and bundled him over with the follow up, no knockdown but Zorro cleaned his clock with the right hand straight after, it was goodnight Vienna, hellacious KO
