Was Ryder one of the toughest fights of Canelo ?

Post by apollo creed »

I saw that Canelo was somehow struggling in this fight, getting hit straight in his face multiple times by a T-Rex arms opponent, looking flat-footed and heavy, relying mostly on his right hand and overall at the end of the fight his body language was like he had enough. Maybe his left hand wrist ain't fully recovered ?

And he still wants to fight Bivol at 175? He'd make better money by fighting Bena, Munguia or big Charlo.

Basically it sounds like people are blowing it out of proportion because they expected Ryder to get blown away with ease, and he actually put up a bit of a fight.

I'm still sure he was a ways off from winning.

Imo Canelo looked more "fresher" at the end of the first 2 GGG fights than with Ryder. Also Ryder tagged much more Canelo's face than GGG did it with his strong jabs.

What Canelo is thinking that he is gonna do better against Bivol? I don't know.

lol, come on my man, ggg was much tougher for canelo than ryder does. ryder was a punch bag for the most part, won 2 rounds tops, arguably none

Yeh I mean, just cus it went the distance, didn’t make it a tough fight.

Khan probably gave him more problems.

I saw Canelo eating with ease some clean punches from a t-rex arms fighter like Ryder which is strange for a fighter with a top defense like Canelo. That's it.

How many Canelo fights have you seen? Canelo had plenty of tougher fights than Ryder.

Canelo is fading man, thats why the fight with Ryder was tough and exhausting.

it wasnt really thta tough of a fight at all for canelo, he arguably didnt lose a round. just that many people expected him to crush ryder and it looked at one point like he was going to, so ryder making it a full 12 was a disappointment on canelo's end

he has had many tougher fights
