Boycott chickenshits and divas

Post by Bandog »

It's time to boycott chickenshits and divas.

Some of my favorite boxers have been so disappointing. They may as well retire. Andrade, Mall Charlo, Spence, Fury, Crawford, Munguia to name a few. They all have let down the fans, that pay their salary.

They are either afraid, or a diva. Either way, it will be down hill for all the chickenshits.

Tonight was a great wakeup call as to why these guys don't fight. Insane that Joyce fought Zhang. Absolutely one of the worst high risk, zero reward fighters.

Joyce was about to get the biggest fight of his life too only to get derailed.

Yup. Insane Joyce fought a legitimate opponent. Definitely less insane to fight the Southeast Bavarian cruiserweight champion to preserve his 0

Considering how this forum crapped on Zhang and Hrgovic after their fight, you'd imagine Joyce was going to fight Winnie the Pooh.

I'm ahead of the curve
I didn't even watch Fury Chisora, and I'm not watching any Spence or Crawford fights unless it's against each other and I'm not paying for the privilege now either. They had their chance.

Sadly you are spot on.

I will always applaud fighters like Dillian Whyte and now Joe Joyce, guys who take on the best rather than sitting on their rankings.

This highlights why boxing stinks.

Joe Joyce will now probably have to wait even longer, maybe never even get that opportunity now.

You're blind? Just a few topics down and you get "Zhang is limited..." and "Hrgovic regressed..."

More positive than negative comments.

I think most of us underrated Zhang.

Maybe Hrgovic isn't that bad after all, and maybe we're still underrating Zhang.

Still it's got to be said, that was probably the worst game plan we've seen for years and years.

After watching that I have no idea why Salas is rated so highly.

Even I know that Joyce had to circle clockwise to keep away from southpaw Zhang's big left, and I've never fought.

As for the plan that Zhang would tire later, well it didn't look as if anyone had even told Joe.

Let's not also forget that if it wasn't for the eye the fight could still have turned.

Especially when you look at the scorecards at the time of the stoppage.

zhang had been a guy who was an offensive powerhouse for 3 rounds, then massively dropped off. considering zhang gassed so bad he was hospitalized vs jerry forrest, after bouncing him off the canvas like a basketball early on, and then gassed again after beating hrg up early, it was natural to think a hard chinned stamina machine like joyce was all wrong for him and could get through the early fire if jerry and filly did

this time big bang not only did enough early damage to leave a lasting effect, he also paced himself a bit better and still was able to throw those hard shots as it went on. there was some drop off still, but zhang was lighting joyce up again in the 6th before it was stopped,, whereas he could barely move after 4 vs forrest

No, this is the new space age 2023 Chinese next gen battery powered Zhang.

This version can go 6 rounds and breaks anything that gets in its way.

Even Juggernauts.

It is insane, if that's what his career depends on.

If he can make money fighting zero risk opponents, it's the sensible thing to do.

The one and only thing that will drive professional fighters to routinely fight dangerous opponents is if people stop paying to watch them fighting people with no chance of beating them.
