Re: Sean O'Grady versus Freddie Pendleton
Oh man that's a tough call.
O'Grady is so hard to accurately rank because his talents were better than his record which comprised mostly of easy competition. Just how good he actually was is hard to assess because there was many fights he could've taken but didn't though he became a world champion.
Pendleton I think was underrated. And it's hard to decide a winner when you have an over appreciated guy versus an under appreciated guy. Because those are so hard to break down.

Re: Sean O'Grady versus Freddie Pendleton
I'll pass on this because I didn't see enough of Pendleton's fights.
But I did see a lot of O'Grady's action and must say he was no bum. Sean wasn't a dominant lightweight and would have been KO's by at least five or six of the era's top 135 pounders. But still, O'Grady was much better than given him credit for.

Hard one to call, but I think Sean will probably win a nailbiter by unanimous decision.
Re: Sean O'Grady versus Freddie Pendleton
I suspect fights between these 2 would be close bouts with either guy being in a position to win a decision at the end.
I'd lean toward O'Grady, but Pendleton would be right there with him so it's truly a 50/50 match.
