Ed saying 7,000. I don’t think he’s seen the seating plan. I think I’m off now to help out.

I don’t know why Hearn is still obsessed with big venues. If they couldn’t get Nottingham Arena they should have stuck it on in the Birmingham arena which I think holds about 10k
Hearn saying 7k probably means it’s really only around 5K sales. There will be all kinds of giveaways /comps flying around if anybody wants to go.

I can see Wood getting dragged into a dogfight and being shellacked again
He needs to box him if he can, I don't see Lara as a 12 round fighter. Some dig on him though

You have to respect Wood for his bravery. He's a real fighting man going straight back in with Lara. Hats off to him.

I just get the feeling this is going to be a repeat of the first. Lara can hurt Wood, and Wood's style of fighting means he will always be shipping punches to deliver his own. Joe Joyce sized balls though.

How would Lara cope at Super Feather?

Fight might not even happen surely.

you cant weigh in at 126 lbs also the bbboc but you can weigh in much heavier than your opponent now

Re: Mauricio Lara vs. Leigh Wood II | DAZN - 27 May 2023
It’s stupid.
They’ve taken a saftey stance on Lara but pushed the health risk to Wood whose opponent hasn’t had to drain himself and is near 4lbs heavier.
I hope they introduce a rehydration clause against Lara.
Re: Mauricio Lara vs. Leigh Wood II | DAZN - 27 May 2023
Imagine all kinds of conversations have gone on since Wed when they knew best case was Lara hitting 128.5 including purse assignment etc. May even have been an agreement on 130?! Fight must be on having reconsidered things!maverick23 wrote: ↑26 May 2023, 09:44It’s stupid.

Yeah. From what I’ve seen it looks like a deal was done a couple of days ago re: purse reallocation.garethhop wrote: ↑26 May 2023, 09:47Imagine all kinds of conversations have gone on since Wed when they knew best case was Lara hitting 128.5 including purse assignment etc. May even have been an agreement on 130?! The issue Lara has is that he came in over a 1lb above the board’s minimum so that will give team Wood more leverage to push further.
Re: Mauricio Lara vs. Leigh Wood II | DAZN - 27 May 2023
Unless Lara was 185+ for the check weigh in they should be leaving him alone to make weight in the he knows he can.

World title fights should have noadditional rules from commissions. You should make weight or not… bbboc drs can cancel it if you look too unhealthy sure, but no extra rules or weightstipulations.
