Really like the Hammer fight. Hammer is tough as nails and should give him some rounds... After that give him Wach...

Hammer fight will tell us exactly what Anderson is made of. I love the way they've matched this kid up so far.

Lol! not untrue, but I see it as an opportunity to see what Anderson can do to change up during a fight as he (or doesn't) figures out how to get the man out of there.

No one learns anything from fighting Hammer these days. Just another negative holder and punch bag.

For guys with tons of experence there isnt much to learn. But for a young rookie.... Big guy, and can normaly take you rounds but isnt super dangerous. Book it as a 10 rounder, you either get him out of there which looks good or get the feeling of going 10 rounds under lights (a very hard thing to find for prospects). If your not that confident yet a potential 8 rounds is still good experience for someone thats never been past 6,

Jared Anderson pulls out of his clash with Christian Hammer on the Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte undercard after suffering an injury in training... as the Gypsy King's sparring partner admits he has paid the price for rushing his camp

Anderson revealed the news on Instagram and admitted he has paid the price for rushing his training camp in the lead-up to his encounter with Hammer.

'To all my fans and supporters, I would like to personally apologise because I will no longer be able to fight on the Fury vs. Whyte undercard due to injury,' he wrote.

'I rushed this camp, and now I have to go into hiding. I will be back ten times stronger. Yours truly, The Real Big Baby.'

Anderson was recruited as a sparring partner for Fury before the latter's second and third encounters with Deontay Wilder, which he prevailed in by stoppage on both occasions.

Yeah, somewhat.. If Jah dominates this fight, folks will merely downplay Zhan. Can't believe it's over 4 years watching this kid develop.

The HW division moves like a glacier now Oogs. If you want a decent reign as champion you better start young, have the best promotion and management and take every fight to force mandatory shots or else your out in the cold.

yes on the first point Kiwi. Your second statement sounds like you're speaking of Anderson. We'll see if his handlers can get him the fights he needs.

I have jah favourite but it’s a live fight, that’s why I expect a late opponent change because I just don’t think bob has the depth to gamble someone like jah.

It's hard to bring someone along without gambling at some point. Anderson needs tougher fights where he is forced to clean up his sometimes sloppy defense. This is exactly what he needs. Btw, I think Anderson should be looked at as a contender instead of a prospect at this point. Not sure what he is ranked but should be in the lower top 10. Sure as hell better than White or Chisora.

Kinda agree, but I think couple more with takem, kabayal, pulev or somthing. Not the less known guy that can be tricky and can crack. It might well be the perfect fight for him, just think it’s a bit of an unknown…
