Did he at least throw a bit like vs hrg or did he come in fat for a pay check?

He landed a decent shot at the end of the third hit Adeleye didn’t blink. Other than that he would throw some kind of a shot and then look to hold or duck his head under Adeleye’s arm to get into a clinch.

At the end of the first he had a very slight bump above his right eye but it didn’t get much worse.

I obviously said at the weigh in I didn’t think he had trained or he’d only done very minimal work in the last year and I stand by that. Others said he was ‘in shape and held the extra weight well’ well im sorry lads but if you’ve trained you don’t quit after 5 slow rounds where you haven’t been badly stunned once.

He's a great pundit ,calm and measured in his responses and the perfect foil for the other gobshite in the studio.
Frampton's class, he's wasted on BT, I'd love to see him do the Barry Jones gun for hire circuit, incidentally Jones made his name on b/nation which BT picked up the baton from, he carried on with them for a few years, broke out to the masses then BT binned him, he says he doesn't know why but it's bizarre, I was amazed Eddie never made him part of the original DAZN team, dropped a bollock there, I thought that at the time but at least he's on DAZN now regularly as well as Sky and Channel 5, Frampton needs to do the same otherwise he'll be stuck in York Hall and Telford

He's hardly 'wasted' at BT - it's a huge channel with plenty of big nights. Plus he did the doc for BBC recently so others clearly aware of his talents. Agree that he's one of the best pundits going and he's very honest. He called out that manufactured beef in the ring immediately last night.

As to the boxing, Wardley won't be losing much sleep over Adeleye after that display. Good British scrap though to see who goes to the next level. My money on Wardley. Frqzer Clarke to continue to go missing against both.

Barry Jones got binned for jumping into bed with Kinnahans mob on YouTube. It's the same reason Steadman is out the picture. Barry knows this as well as anyone, so I don't really know why he peddles the lines he does.

Frampton is a breath of fresh air for the simple fact that he tells the truth and doesn't always follow the broadcasters narrative. He's the best boxing analyst by a mile ATM.

That Adeleye fight was a farce, he looked awful, still edged the rounds as Ahmatovic offered nothing offensively but Adeleye struggled with his timing and ability to land anything clean or meaningful, he did have a decent 5th, his best round but still no great shakes but I've no idea why Ahmatovic quit on his stool after the round, still enough to show Adeleye is nowhere near as ready as he thinks he is, Wardley would leather him

BTs poverty mate, they do the odd decent show but most of its guff like last night with 70% of the guys he's commentating on are the likes of Emir Ahmatovic, who knows maybe when they get took over next month by TNT or whatever it's called, they up their American content

They've got the Champions League though and weekly Premier League games.

Shows like Beterbiev v Yarde put them on the level of Sky on occasion. I like the prospect British shows BT put on. Happy with BT and Dazn as a combo, not got Sky and not too bothered when they weirdly started backing maulers like Okolie.

That fight and Joyce v Zhang were as good as anything in this country so far this year.

Yeah and this card was very low ranking, but still a pretty good watch.

Put on the best high level fight of the year in thks country and the Joyce fight, plus Conlan, and slme decent other bits. Missed Fury obviously and could do with one or two other world level guys but been a good year for them.

Aye fair enough, it's the fluff in between, Wasserman are even worse, as threadbare as Matchrooms shows are sometimes, they don't do Latvian binmen these days
