Arturo Gatti - Ray Mancini

Post by AngryGoon38 »

At 135.

12 rounder.

I see this being very entertaining. A Real crowd pleasing type of Classic Brawl.

I'd Have to pick Mancini if it's the Pre-"Duk Koo Kim" bout version of Mancini.

Mancini has emphatically stated that he just didn't have it anymore after that ill fated Tragic Bout.

The pre-Tragic Bout version of Ray Mancini wins by either late round tko, or takes it by a decisive decision victory.

The post-Tragic Bout version of Ray Mancini likely loses by a close decision I'd guess.

Would've been a war, and Mancini would've won it.

Mouth watering fight. At 135 pounds I'll take Mancini.

Mancini was a level higher. Would have been fun to watch. Eventually Mancini would have stopped him.

Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini was in another level. But, Arturo Gatti was one of the last warriors.

Mancini by knockout in an entertaining slugfest.

Mancini chews him up and spits him out.

I remember prime Gatti getting his ass kicked badly by Floyd Mayweather. Was stopped in fact. Mancini would have been a tougher test for Floyd by miles.

Some men are in great fights and become legendary. Gatti was one of those guys. But he wasn't a great boxer or great fighter. He needed guys with their own set of limitations like Ward to make him look extraordinary.
