Where do you see boxing going?

Boxing is a brilliant sport and that is why we persevere with it, though thick and thin. Whenever I start to doubt it I watch a recent or even historic great fight and any doubts are cast aside. I re-watched the 3 Fury-Wilder fights at the weekend and fights 1 and 3 are excellent fights that lack for nothing.

The fragmentation of boxing TV wise is a problem in the UK with the limited talent pool, but nothing compared to the impact that boxing not being in the Olympics will be.

Looking forward 5 years, I can't see anyone in the current crop other than Connor Benn being capable of selling out an arena.

Absolute nonsense! Spence v Crawford is a tumultuous matchup.

Pouring cold water on a fight between two incredible talents like these is merely a reflection of having a glass half-full approach.

The glass is full to the brim !

Crawford never looked better in KO'ing a solid "come to win" contender in David Avanesyan and after winning again & again and surviving severe car crashes, Spence appears to be made of steel.

Whether the fight lives up to expectations remains to be seen but this is a fight for the boxing trade, casual boxing fans and sports fans in general

We have to wait until they are 35 and 33 respectively for it to happen - it's still a great fight, but it should have happened years ago,. - how many other fights of that profile have their been over the last decade?

Despite Spence and Crawford's respective ages they are both men at the top of their games IMO. This isn't the 70s or 80s where being aged over 30 meant most boxers were on borrowed time.

What they both lack in youth, they more than make up for in experience and more importantly each of their wills to win is second to none ! There's young, hungry kids out there who desire to win falls short of Spence & Crawford...that's a key issue in why this fight is still at a premium.

The two best in their division (and beyond), all 4 titles on the line and both unbeaten....it's a dream match. It's a shame Bob Arum isn't promoting it rather than that damp squib Al Haymon, because he's no friend of boxing but hey ho.

I've been bitten once too often to stake everything on this being a great fight, maybe the styles won't gel or there is so much on the line that neither will commit because they don't want to make a mistake, but that does seem unlikely (fingers crossed).

Often there's a lot of caution in these big superfights.

Let's hope it's a belter - even better would be if fight one was good enough for a rematch.

Yep, it could be a very tight affair with both waiting for the other to tee off....that will be disappointing.

I just think at some point, hopefully sooner than later, that the fight will ignite and neither will want to back down....i hope.

Crawford has a burning desire to win and Spence has a stubborn refusal to lose
