Good step up for Huni. Kuzmin seems to have fully embraced his role as a stepping stone opponent.

Cue UKAD to announce a ban! Hopefully.

huni vs kuzman would be an excelent step up. Bit worried about Hunis hands (and kO record)... keeps picking sturdy heads to punch.

It's tough coming up as a heavyweight in Australaisa. You would expect everyone to be expert body punchers seeing as we get HW's with huge soft bodies, and rock hard heads

Matchroom's Frank Smith says he is confident of getting the deal done but in order to work to the September 23rd date, they need to have this signed, sealed and delivered very quickly now.

So wrong on so many levels.

Cue the board to re-issue that warning!

The BBBofC certainly need to make a statement.

The delicate issue is when should they issue that statement? At present all we have amounts to hearsay of an intention to make a Benn fight and this isn't the first time we have heard such murmurings. Do the board act now, preemptively, in the form of a warning? Or do they wait until an official announcement is made for a fight involving Benn and then come down heavy? Or at least as heavy as their powers allow them?

Looks like the fight may go ahead in September in Abu Dhabi

Interesting to see if the bbboc take any action on who's involved if this goes ahead.

I think they’ll wait to see what happens with UKAD first. If he’s cleared then they’ll probably fight in the U.K. whilst if he isn’t then they’ll go to Abu Dhabi.

Will be a very bad look if Benn takes a ban and they then put it on in Abu Dhabi.

The GAD seemed to be implying that there was more to the liam smith situation then we are being told in talk sport 2 the other night.

Might be talking shit. Cant imagine any scenario other than being injured that liam wouldnt want the rematch.

Its all quite simple really , Benn thinks he can do has he likes , LET HIM , if he wants to go to Aba Daba Doo , or Tim Buk Too LET HIM , but any trainer official or promoter that goes with him , or assists in any way ,strip them of there liscence , , BBBC have shown they have teeth if its ignored time to bite . , They issued the warnings , that should be enough , and if they don't bite , well its time for an overthrow , another organization , probably would be one started by someone like Hearns to assure in the future he gets his own way ,,

But never the less if they don't act it just shows they are puppets doing what they want when they want with no consistency and not fit for purpose

It’s odd. September this year would only add up to 11 months since the failed test. Is The Board/UKAD really going to let Benn off with a retrospective 3/6 month ban for two failed tests for Clomifene, which numerous other athletes have netted 2-4 year bans in boxing and other sports? That sounds very weak/corrupt if it comes off for Benn/Hearn.

Bellew got the same money twice against Haye as well.

Beating CEJ twice will be good.. surely he’s confident in beating him again.

Strange move for smith. Cant imagine who he'd fight for more. Unless he thought he'd get benn, they had a bit of fake beef recently.

It hasn't yet and may not. I think there is a lot of posturing going on at present. Hearn seems to be just poking the whole thing with a stick to see what reaction it gets.

Smith doesn’t do fake beef. He said nobody is saying anything about Benn because they don’t want to upset Hearn or Nigel. He said Conor is a cheat. Benn rarely mentions him.

I am now starting to think Benn will be found
Guilty with strict liability and by sheer coincidence he will get a back dated year ban which will mean we get Benn v Eubank at the end of September.
