Is this a "proper" fight or an exhibition?

I always really rated willie limond. wanted him to achieve more. would loved to have seen him fight michael gomez to see if he could break the curse of the scots.

anyway, blatant cash grab between mates.

wilie had lovely basics. a guy with next to no power, not particularly fast, but very well schooled. i remeber him giving a boxing lesson to curtis w for the british

but bleh fight, these guys should hang em up for good.

Was giving comeback Morales more trouble than he thought in the comeback fight before the altitude (and crafty body shots) took he is wind,, he got invited back as a main sparring partner

Apparently Eric was very impressed

Pretty sure both know it's their swansong, wanted Burns to retire a while ago now but looking forward to seeing him one last time, seems a lifetime ago he fought Arthur but what a career the man had, the last of a generation, 3 weight world champ incredible when you think about it, never the most talented boxer but had more heart than anyone, unbeatable work ethic and tough as anyone this country has produced

Shout-out to Limond as well, another great servant to Scottish boxing as well as British, turned pro in 99, can't be many active fighters who turned over in the previous century if any

If it is a retirement fight, good for them. They‘ve served the sport well, especially Burns.

I fancy Limond @ 7/2. Burns didn’t look great in his last fight and that was 2021. It’s obviously a retirement fight to earn them a few quid which they both deserve.

An AI generated Harry Carpenter commentating would wrap it all up nicely.

You’d think Burns would make a terrific trainer up in Scotland. He’s clearly a bit of genius at getting the maximum out of himself.
