Berlanga interview, he gives himself a C level performance.
That's a pretty honest assessment.
He's a good boxer and brings a lot to the table, I think he can do a lot better than this and he knows it.
He has a couple of the fundamentals and gifts already in him, I'd like to take a look at his corner and training camp to further understand where he's coming from.
You can get more out of Berlanga for sure.
Quigley was game, it didn't look like he would make it at one point but Berlanga took his foot off the gas and let him stay in the bout.
Decent fight.

Weird fight, had it 114-110 Berlanga, nearly got Quigley out of there in the last but he's far too passive, don't get me wrong Sergio Mora's constant Quigley rimming was brutal to listen to but Berlanga was bang average, even with dropping Quigley 4 times, nice left hook/right hand in the 3rd then a left hook to the body in the 5th had him down again, I thought Quigley came into things, picked up a few rounds on the spin , took advantage of Berlanga's poor work rate but Berlanga came out firing in the 12th and other left hook/right hand had Quigley down before Quigley took a knee after taking a jolting left, great last round by Berlanga but what the fck is wrong with his activity? Doesn't look the goods

Amazing how much Kownaki has fallen off. wasnt great, but was better than this....

Him and Big Pharmacy Miller were training partners.... Surely Kownaki was on the Big pharmacy diet of forbiddin supplements.... had freaky cardio for a fat boy, broke the heavyweight punch record, took some hellish shots, and just kept swinging.... but ever since miller got caught he has fallen of a cliff.

If you can't get Quigley out of there, or even give him rounds, you are FAR away from beating anyone in the top ten. Maybe top 20.

"Matchroom can today confirm that Joe Cusumano returned an adverse analytical finding as part of an anti-doping protocol mandated by the New York State Athletic Commission following his bout with Adam Kownacki on 24 June," Matchroom stated on their official social media account.

"We understand a process is underway with the New York State Athletic Commission and Matchroom now defers to the applicable regulatory authorities on the next steps.

"Whilst we are disappointed by the news, this affirms Matchroom's ultimate desire to regularly test active fighters and ensure we continue to promote a clean and fair sport for all athletes. We will not be making any further comment."

NYSAC will likely make it a no contest now. Chance for someone else to give Kownacki a battering.
