Cant see a book about witter being of much interest to anybody outside of his home town .

Which is Bradford.... It won't be a hit there. Jamie Boyle always says by far his biggest sellers have been Duffy books. He is still a legend in Middlesborough.

I'd read it. I wonder how many copies some of these books actually sell. For example, can't see many outside the hardcore interested in the likes of Martin Murray or Peter Buckley. Same with Witter. None of them are household names but wonder what the break even number is for the publisher?

Lee Duffy FFS - saw him come into a bar there early 1990 and what fuckin roided up lump he was - glaring at every one and just spoiling for trouble !

I will enjoy reading this. British, Commonwealth, European and WBC World Champion. That's a heck of a career. Great guy, too.

That's why many are self-published - that's the route I went down. Even then, if you produce a hi-spec, quality product at a fair price, you end up having to sell a lot to break even.
