Which is Bradford.... It won't be a hit there. Jamie Boyle always says by far his biggest sellers have been Duffy books. He is still a legend in Middlesborough.stevec@france wrote: ↑28 Jun 2023, 11:40 Cant see a book about witter being of much interest to anybody outside of his home town .

Wonder if he mentions Ricky Hatton?!

I'd read it. I wonder how many copies some of these books actually sell. For example, can't see many outside the hardcore interested in the likes of Martin Murray or Peter Buckley. Same with Witter. None of them are household names but wonder what the break even number is for the publisher?

Lee Duffy FFS - saw him come into a bar there early 1990 and what fuckin roided up lump he was - glaring at every one and just spoiling for trouble !mickey1975 wrote: ↑28 Jun 2023, 11:43Which is Bradford.... I will enjoy reading this. British, Commonwealth, European and WBC World Champion. That's a heck of a career. Great guy, too.

Bradley was his third defence.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑28 Jun 2023, 11:03 Good wins over Ndou, Kotelnik and Corley put him on the scene and the flattening of Harris was a great world title win. He was on the way up and building a big profile but losing the Bradley fight live on ITV was a big setback in his first defence.

That's why many are self-published - that's the route I went down. Even then, if you produce a hi-spec, quality product at a fair price, you end up having to sell a lot to break even.veriton wrote: ↑28 Jun 2023, 13:05 I'd read it. If it's well written and Witter has interesting things to say, I'm interested. Good luck to him with it.stevec@france wrote: ↑28 Jun 2023, 11:40 Cant see a book about witter being of much interest to anybody outside of his home town .
