Ebanie Bridges pulled down her pants on social media - but only to show the gruesome aftermath of her surgery.
The Blonde Bomber underwent hand surgery after damaging it before successfully retaining her IBF bantamweight title against Shannon O'Connell. The procedure went well, but required doctors to take a chunk of her hip to fuse the joints in her hand.
Before going under the knife, she tweeted: "On my way to the hospital for this surgery. They’re going to take bone from my hip to fuse my joints together in my hand."
Thankfully, the surgery was a success, and the boxing icon shared the grotesque post-op images on Twitter. And in order to do so, she had to pull down her blue, black and white Calvin Klein pants, as she laid down with a cast on her hand.
She wrote in the now-deleted Twitter post: “Where they took bone from my hip to fuse my joints…hurts more than the hand.” Bridges also revealed that she's got some metal in her hand to aid her recovery - which led fans to label her the 'Bionic Blonde Bomber'.
Ebanie Bridges gave her lingerie Queen seal of approval to Mexican star Sulem Urbina who stripped down to bra and knickers ahead of her fight against Indeya Smith in New York
Ebanie Bridges has given her seal of approval to a Mexican fighter who stripped down to her lingerie to weigh-in.
Flyweight star Sulem Urbina prepared for her bout against Indeya Smith in New York on Wednesday night by pulling a trick straight from Bridges' book as she hit the scales earlier in the week.
The 32-year-old walked across the stage wearing nothing but cut-out black lingerie, revealing plenty of skin in the process. Her racy outfit only just covered her modesty as she tipped the scales at 114.8lbs.
Footage of Urbina showed her strutting her stuff in true Bridges' style, before shaking the hand of her opponent, turning around and walking away.
It didn't take long for Bridges to pick up on Urbina's eye-catching weigh-in as she quote-tweeted the clip and said: "How have I only just seen this?"
The Blonde Bomber completed her tweet with a series of heart eye and flame emojis as her fans joined in the praise. One said: "That’s a bit of a bomber moment if ever I saw one."
Someone else wrote: "You have competition EB!!" A third commented: "You're the trendsetter girl xx." As a fourth fan added: "You’ve got some hot competition there Ebanie, could I be one of the judges for the lingerie competition."
Whether or not that over-excited fan is called upon to be a judge for an as-yet-to-be-determined lingerie competition remains to be seen, but there can be no denying the lingerie weigh-in trend is growing fast.
Unfortunately for Urbina, however, she could not replicate Bridges' heroics in the ring as she suffered a surprise defeat to Smith in the Big Apple.
Smith pulled off the upset with a unanimous decision win to leave Urbina with a 13-3-1 record. Afterwards, the Mexican star tweeted: "Congratulations to Indeya Smith. Thank you New York. Thank you to my friends, family and fans for the continued support."
Maria's nickname is "Russian" because her mother is Russian, but she was born in Italy. Her father is probably Italian. One of her arms has tattoos. You can see her in this weigh-in video:
Kell Brook says his partner Ebanie Bridges is the reason he is still alive.
Sheffield’s one-time IBF world champion admits he has struggled for years with addiction, depression, and lifestyle issues.
But the pathway to his salvation was laid by his relatively new life partner Ebanie, the mother of their son.
Kell, who lives in Dore, spoke about his recovery to the media at a press conference in Dubai yesterday, where he was promoting his return-to-the-ring fight against the UAE's Eisa Al Dah.
The event is to support the Ricky Hatton Foundation.
Ricky died last month, and Kell, 39, told a press conference that people suffering from mental health issues and addiction needed to ask for help. He also touched on his religious faith.
The Sheffielder and Australian boxer Ebanie's relationship became public knowledge when they announced the birth of Ezerra Ray, in March.
Since then, she has been central to his happiness and freedom from the dark times, which he endured following his 'retirement' from boxing.
"I have got a beautiful son, he is my pride and joy," he said.
"I am in control of my life, I am excited, I am clear...I am happy-go-lucky.
"I do things with Ebanie and my son and see different parts of the world.
"I have found myself. Before, I didn't know what was going on.
"Today I have got a purpose to live. I'm in God's hands, and I feel in a very good place," he told Boxing King Media.
"She (Ebanie) is a fantastic mum," Kell added, admitting that felt "strange" considering she is also a "ferocious" boxer.
"I'm enjoying it. She is so clever (Ebanie has a degree in Mathematics and a Masters in teaching.)
"She has played a massive part...she saved my life.
"She put me on the right path...spent a lot of time with me, talked to me."
The 39-year-old one-time bodybuilder and OnlyFans star was knowledgeable about addiction and mental health, he said, referring to the "darkest times when I felt so alone, she was the bright light.
"She got me out of that darkness. She saved my life, really and truthfully.
"She is so armed with the knowledge and been through a lot of things herself in her own battles in life, and she has guided me to where I am today - and that is clean and sober and living a beautiful life."
He said his story was written by God.
"This is what is meant to be...mentally I am in the best place I've ever been in my life."
