The highs were high. The lows were low and life was short.

Lest we forget, one of the all-time classic 3 round shoot outs. How Antwun made it out of that second round we’ll never know. One of the greatest escapes ever seen.
And Charles the hatchet Brewer….wow….surely the hardest punching IT programmer the world has ever seen.

Antwun was a bad bad man, Amazing fighter, I’d forgotten he went on far too long in his career… rest in peace champ. Good to see one of his 21 kids was there see dad’s incredible victory :salut:

- Thanks for the Video.

Sorry to hear about what seems a premature death, but that was a horrific stoppage.

Poor Brewer. Had Echols down thrice in rd 2, then his legs so weak ends up face down in the 3rd when the ref breaks them, and then gives the fight to Echols unable to stay on his feet?

Hopeless hapless Ref could be a leading presidential contender today…only on boxing, folks!!!

That was one of the worst jobs by a referee I have seen. If it was going to be stopped it
should of been stopped in the 2nd round.
They never gave Brewer a chance in that 3rd.

None the less. RIP champ you were an entertaining fighter and will be missed

Mike Ortega is the ref. He's still a ref today but doesn't get a lot of title fights, thankfully. Echols was once a really dangerous fighter but he unfortnately spent the last decade or so of his career as target practice for other fighters and took a lot of shots to the head. RIP
