I can’t imagine any other outcome
Nah. It'll do numbers like you wouldn't imagine.

Between casuals, ufc fanatics, misfit boxing fans, and even critical boxing fans it'll be a major sporting event. Take it to the bank a lot of sponsors will want their advertisements there.

People don't also take into account the political nature of all of these matches being held there. This is all being done to make Saudi Arabia look tremendous to their own people (and arabs as a whole) so you're going to have a large number of people in Saudi Arabia alone tuning in to this bout.
Sorry Henry but your clearly delusional.
Dana is rubbishing it to the UFC crowd - Fury is out of favour with large majority UK crowd .. the casuals blow with the wind of public opinion.

It'll bomb
Lol, just watch.

Dana doesn't own mma. Most UFC fans acknowledge Ngannou is in reality the true champion as he never lost it in the cage. Most UFC fans know Dana is a hypocrite (just like Eddie Hearn) because Dana wanted to make Fury-Jones happen the moment he heard Ngannou might be fighting Fury. UFC is just a brand, like McDonald's. It's not the sport of mma. So yes, mma fans will tune in regardless of what Dana says.

The UK fans will still tune in. They'll "hate watch" it. The British are extremely fickle. They can't be taken seriously because they had ZERO issues with Hearn pursuing Ngannou for Joshua, and they know damn well Joshua-Whyte is a pointless rematch just like Joyce-Zhang is also pointless. They can say they hate Fury, and hate this gimmick match but the proof is in the pudding, the British are talking about it non-stop. They'll watch so I don't buy it. People, believe it or not, buy fights hoping to see someone lose. That's why Floyd Mayweather was such a draw for years cus everybody was hoping somebody would beat him.

As for the general public you can guarantee places like Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. will put on the ppv's for customers to watch. You can guarantee that many people who buy Jake Paul events will be buying it. The same people who watch these freakshow events in Britain with rappers fighting, etc will be buying it. The kinda people who watch Geordie Shore, etc will be tuning into it.

And again, potentially millions of people will be tuning into the event in Saudi Arabia. It'll do big business. People are only assuming so because of their own assumptions how people should spend their money on the basis of your own dislike of Fury.

It'll certainly do more numbers than Joshua-Whyte, Usyk-Dubois and Joyce-Zhang. None of those are true ppv worthy matches. Everybody knows it. I wouldn't be surprised if Fury-Ngannou does 500k buys bare minimum and as high as 1,000,000. Wilder-Fury 3 did 600k and that was also a fight nobody wanted to see. Chisora 3 was 300k buys. So for me it'll a cinch.

lol fury boys and their persecution complex

it's not some hate on fury thing. saudis throwing out ridiculous amounts for aj and usyk fights were bombs too, it's the nature of these events where fighters are vastly overpaid. and fighters being vastly overpaid is why theyre going to f@cking saudi arabia to fight in the first place

Henry - it's a PPV at a most likely stupid o'clock .. for £25 at a time in UK when belts are being tightened.

Social media has turned on Fury and Dana is rubbishing it to the UFC crowd who he has considerable influence over.

Added to which Fury and Ngannou don't sell many PPVs.

If it was a stadium fight in UK it would sell out cos it's a night out to many .. but traveling to Saudi ain't gonna happen .. and giving £25 away certainly ain't attractive

It's already a huge event - simply cos of the money it's costing.
But that doesn't mean it's gonna sell many PPVs.

Will the Saudis make money?

I accept Ngannou and Fury will make their millions .. and the fWanks will get their percentage.

But the Saudis? I can't see what they will get. Tourism to Saudi off the back of it?? Not a chance
They dont care about the money. Its almost certainly backed with state money.

Its all part of a very long term plan.
But they'll still be wanting some sort of value for money.
They've been spnuking money at these type events for a couple years now - and typically received as much bad PR back as the good .. they aren't changing their human rights policy and seem ever more amiable to Poo-tin and his whole new world order fantasy.

So I honestly can't see what Fury brings? He is again out of favour with the majority of the UK public (just take read on any news website or social media) .. he is clearly milking the Saudis with nothing to suggest he is the type of character to be loyal to his backers .. the guy is a moron wholly focused on self preservation and money.

So what are the Saudis hoping to get?
The people who claim that they are bored of Tyson Fury sure type a lot of words about Tyson Fury.

It depends what they do.

Saudi is ahead by 3 hours.

So it might turn out UK prime time.

Unless they cater to the US fans.

We don’t know yet.

To play devils advocate for one second...

Frank when he’s presenting the options to BT;

“We’ve got 2 options on the table for Tyson. We can go with Frank Sanchez / Martin Bakole who know body apart from hardcore boxing fans have heard of, and you will probably sell about 250k on PPV. Alternatively, we can go for Francis Ngannou in a massive commercial event, which will draw in a mainstream audience and probably sell about 800k...”

Which one do we think BT would want to go with..

Yes, saw that. Now on Seconds Out arguing that AJ doesn't have ambition ( whilst his own fighter beat 40 year Chisora last time out and is now going to box a non boxer next).

There was a third option, wait until 27th January and box Uysk in the biggest fight ever for even more money.

Well, just watched the number 1 and number 2 tennis players in the world go at it for five epic sets.

Meanwhile, in boxing the Number 1 Heavyweight in the World defends his three belts against his mandatory, whilst the Number 2 Heavyweight in the World is going to box a 37 year old non boxer with a 0 - 0 - 0 record.

What a pile of cr*p they are serving up on the 28th October. It really is bad.

I'm sure that if the top players were playing against the likes of Britney Spears on PPV and earning more than Wimbledon money that they would take it!
I imagine they would organise the match around the majors though!
However if Fury's record only includes exhibition fights for the future, it will affect his legacy.
Dunno whether he would care or not if he banked big.

And would tennis be better for it?
The big difference is - tennis is still a sport and not been ruined by being a business.

It's beyond embarrassing, just talking complete guff constantly, good to see a Talksport employee give it back a bit, most of them are too shit scared.

1. Fight a boxer in a keep busy voluntary.
2. 'Fight' someone who has zero boxing experience.

1. Fury is supposedly a massive draw, so he will fill Wembley against anyone in the WBC top 15.
2. He can't draw against a non Brit and his popularity has plummeted, so fight in Saudi.

1. Usyk, AJ and Ruiz are all totally unreasonable negotiators, as are all the remaining WBC top 15.
2. Who cares about the WBC? Fury has them in his pocket and they'll back anything he does.

1. Boxing legacy.
2. Dosh.

1. Tough.
2. Easy.

1. Yes.
2. No

That sounds fine, but they haven’t had any paperwork
/contract with an offer for the Usyk fight. Even Eddie is basically in no man’s land until he gets some paperwork for this supposed Wilder fight..doesn’t it strike you as odd that Wilder is chasing Ruiz instead of waiting for his bag?

I don’t even think Eddie is that confident tbh.

You can’t run businesses on a promise - what happens if the Saudi government, pulls the plug on it in a few months and everybody is left with their dicks in their hands..

Like it it not, Frank will have targets with TNT etc- he needs to deliver events and this other Saudi group have been able to deliver the goods for October. Which raises another question- why can they do the Nganno fight/event so soon, but the other crew can’t..

You think that Doofy/Dribble/Mick are not telling the truth? that they really do not think Fury is playing a blinder??

Unfortunately they appear very much behind Furys latest money-grab ... fWank tells them how great it is so why would they even consider its not a good thing.
