This is a close fight and I think it would come down to how the judges viewed Viruet's movement; is he running or boxing ? 50-50 bout goes to a split decision and engenders a lot of debate.

Edwin Viruet by decision. Greg Haugen would carry the fight, but, can he cutoff the ring against a moving target?

These two are so evenly matched that it's damned hard to pick a winner. It definitely goes the distance, as neither was a puncher and both were excellent defensive boxers. The decision could go either way, with the scorecards extremely close,.

The winner would be whichever guy was the promoter's favorite. Or, which one was popular enough with the fans that TV executives would want him to win, in order to protect revenues. The officials would lean in favor of that boxer. Everyone on this forum knows what I'm talking about.

I think that it'd be so close that a draw would be idealistically conceivable.

They're coinciding and correlative styles would make this the likely scenario.

One may very well get the nod(Decision Win)(SD or MD), based on specific based favoritism.

Haugen would probably likely have the slightly higher punch count and landed punches.

Viruet would be slightly the more impressive defensive boxer.

It'd come down to individual preferences in they're Coinciding competitive boxing approach.
