The reality is, if Fury took on Ngannou in MMA he would get completely iced comfortably inside the first round.

Therefore, does Fury need to make a statement and try and do the same thing to Ngannou in Round 1?

Or will he try and give the fans their moneys worth and allow it to go a few rounds?

Either way, I don't know what the attraction is for the fans. A lot of people who are critical of the fight have said they will still watch it, but why, when the winner is known in advance?
But what does the banned from BoxRec Terry Dooley think?

Oh the irony from Eddie.
Yeah, the irony is that Eddie's charge, AJ, fought Usyk..... TWICE. Fury hasn't fought him once.
No irony that Eddie’s charge, AJ, has just turned down 2 shots at the WBC title?
Stop being a silly-billy. Your defending your hero, Luke Fury again. The FACTS are....... AJ fought Usyk twice. Usyk fought AJ twice, Fury hasn't fought either of them.

Usyk/Fury is like the Alain Prost/Nigel Mansell rivalry of old …if Mansell had given up on Formula One, taken to racing super bangers on the Cumbria circuit, calling the Frenchman a big dosser every chance he got. ‘Look at the cheese eating monkey, hiding away on those fancy Monaco circuits. If he was in anyway a man he’d meet me on the cinder dirt of Warton!’

I've mentioned Terry's opinion. "Fury, Wilder and AJ were the top 3 for years. 2 fought each other 3 times." Then something about no computer can come up with an excuse for that.

3rd fight wasn't really needed was it.. pointless rematch clause which expired.. went through courts.

Facts though.

And wasn't the AJ-Luke fight all agreed? But then Fury pulled out and fought Wilder for the third time?

Because of court arbitration. Joshua has turned down the Fury fight twice in the past 9 months and avoided Wilder for 7 years.

60 pages but fury , AJ and Wilder all risk averse. All put money way before legacy.

Usyks record puts them to shame. Always fought the best once he got to the world title level ( with the exception of the transition Period at heavy). How anyone can think he would duck any other fighter is laughable.

Ah yes. The social media offer that AJ had to accept without seeing a contract or any details that may cause issue with his contracts at the time.

This was what Wilder said to Fury…’You know I was offered more money to fight Joshua than I was getting to fight you.’

Surprised they offered him so much money if they were trying to avoid him.

If you click on the tweet, Hearn makes it clear in the replies that they had no interest in fighting Wilder in the States. Your ignoring this because you choose to..

I’m aware of it. 👍

I just disagree with your notion that AJ has avoided Wilder for 7 years when Wilder himself states he turned down down an offer for it.

Luke could have bought Wilder off, but chose not to. I get it, your hero didn't want to fight AJ.
