Assuming you are talking about the Gato Gonzalez who was a lightweight beltholder in the early 1970s and not the Gato Gonzalez who fought for the lightweight and junior lightweight belts in the 1980s. Great war. I would go with Rosario by TKO around 8 or 9. Both were tremendous punchers so really could go either way

How about the Gato who lost to Claude Noel?
That Gato was a huge disappointment. Thought he’d be a star coming up but failed in the big fights. He had a good chin so might have lasted the difference but Rosario wins
